We had dinner around 6pm last night. Variance options and staffs were super efficient. However, we both had severe upset stomach after the dinner. Started around 1or 2 am, 4 times vomiting and diaherra almost killed both of us. Nausea, dizzy and headache until now. As a tourist, I used to trust the food quality in Hong Kong. Does that mean food safety is not the priority in Deluxe Daikiya anymore? Very disappointed. We have to reschedule everything due to medical concern. Wasted our money and time. Local style Japanese AYCE. This location is so much better than Chong Hing Building. Environment is so much more spacious and brighter. Still super popular with the locals. Great value for money. Service is prompt and efficient. Don’t expect 5 star service. Food has improved a lot. Love the roast pigeon. Too bad it didn’t come with the salt. The abalone tasted a bit weird tonight. I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I made a phone reservation for 9 PM but arrived early, around 8:20 PM. Hoping to secure our place in line, we asked for a queue number, but the server refused. Strangely, people who arrived after us at 8:30 were seated promptly, while we continued to wait.
