Flow is one of the many coffee shops to have opened up in the Sham Shui Po district in the past couple of years. They are located on the corner of Tai Nan Street and Skep Kip Mei Street and are presently open from 12pm to 6pm daily.

There is limited seating inside with two tables and a handful of window and bar side seating, probably enough space to accommodate around 10-12 people at a time. There is often a queue outside Flow as well, especially on weekends. Atmosphere is urban with eclectic hints. Service was very friendly during our visit.

They focus on hand drip coffee first making use of beans roasted by Coffea Circulor from Norway but can do espresso and other black and white coffees if you like. Flow has a nice looking range of desserts and offer a few other savoury food items as well.

During a recent visit we tried their Brazil and Guatemala hand drip coffees. The Brazil was medium with subtle, good flavour, a nice morning style coffee. The Guatemala was a lighter coffee with more noticeable citrus and fruity notes, something tea drinkers should really enjoy.

Overall, we liked having afternoon coffee at Flow. Had just finished lunch and had no room for desserts but really liked what we saw in the counter. Next time around, We'll give one a try along with our...

I had quite a different experience from my first visit than what others had on their visit in Flow. The customer service that most people described on the reviews as "nice" and "friendly" was dissimilar to what I have noticed in person-unalike what was painted by the others' nice experiences.

Perhaps, it is possible that the staffs might have been different on my visit, or the staffs might have been battling a very bad day and therefore projected a spicy and argumentative service. And so to describe it was, I arrived, I felt, I left.

I sure hope to experience what was told of as "nice" and "friendly" by many on my next visit so I could finally try their coffee. I look forward to next time!

But until then, I recommend others to wander around-My Little Coffee Roastery, Cofflow, Taste and Tales. They take their business approach differently and will make your experience so much more pleasant than leaving you more anxious or frustrated.

Other Pros: On the bright side, Flow is a place complete with good seats,...

terrible service - and overly sweet, over-priced drinks for non-coffee drinkers.

Our experience: We have 6 people and there were only 1 table. We could not share a table despite being all vaccinated because their STAFF WERE NOT VACCINATED So 2 of us seated and the rest waited for seats outside for 30 min while drinking takeout coffee. Seats became available and rude staff told us as long as we got take out coffee we cant sit inside ????!!! The male staff was very impatient and rolled his eyes blatantly at us multiple times. I have never experienced such rude staff before.

The least anyone can do is have respect for customers who made an effort to come visit your cafe - by 1) having basic manners; 2) get vaccinated.

I am definitely never...

We went around 5.30pm, and didn't need to wait (although the place was almost full). The coffee menu was explained to us, and the drinks served quickly. We enjoyed our coffees (Ugandan/Ethiopian beans, drip, iced), the environment was peaceful and relaxing, and the staff friendly. We won't be making it a regular destination, as the prices are pretty high ($75 for an iced coffee), but it looks like it would be a good spot for afternoon tea after some shopping.
