Read more🇵🇭 Unlike Thai, Vietnamese or even Indonesian food - Filipino cuisine is unfortunately not as well known globally nor will one easily find eateries serving authentic Filipino dishes outside of the Philippines. Likewise, in spite of a sizeable Filipino diaspora in 🇭🇰 Hong Kong, there’s less than a handful of eateries that have authentic Filipino food on their menu..
🐖 For non-Filipinos, the well-known dishes from the Philippines are most probably “Adobo”, “Lechon” and perhaps “Sisig”.. But there are countless other delicious dishes that one would probably only discover when one lives there, open to eating like a local in a Carinderia or “Jolli-Jeep” and finding themselves falling in love with dishes like the creamy coconutty pork belly of “Bicol Express”, clear comforting “Chicken Tinola” soup, “Laing” Taro Leaves, and so many more..

Second trip we had Sinigang na baboy and liempo. Both were really good. The sinigang came in a massive bowl which was placed on top of a little flame to keep it warm. The meal was massive and really, we could have done with just the sinigang.
The have a range of san mig beers and also tanduay ice. Also, the spirits selection is...
