MOS Café (The FOREST店) — Restaurant in Kowloon

Must be too much business.

In this economy, everyone is rushing to close early but no one bother to update their opening hours. Leaving customer not knowing when or when not to come. This is the only MOS "near" me that says to be closed at 10pm while others close at 9:30pm. I was here over the weekend after 9:30pm and it was still open so I came at 9:10pm only to be told they close at 9:30pm and if I were to order to go or dine-in. Well, I meant to dine-in if you could cook fast enough.

I had early supper at home. I only wanted a burger after TV so I bused here!

After we finished eating and walked out of the mall, the streets around the area were still full of people and many shops were still open. So the mall shops closing early only means pushing businesses back to the streets.

MOS Burger: Mountain Ocean Sun. Such a lovely Japanese hippy vibed fast food restaurant. My all time fave is the fish burger. Really haven’t tried much else on the menu. For me, this fish burger can’t be beat by any of its fast food competitors-and most of the slow food as well. It’s perfectly crisply breaded, surrounded by a sweet fluffy bun, bedded in tiny, sweetly sautéed onion cubes, and for a little guilt smothered in a sweet silky mayonnaise. Why not get the salad set for a healthier fast food option. They bring it right to your table too so no need to stand around the counter like a cow at feeding time in a barn. I came in at afternoon and was keen to try their burgers. It was quite empty, only 3 tables were occupied. 3 staff seemed to be on duty. One was permanent tapping on her mobile phone in the open kitchen, another was just starring around and ignoring me. I missed at least a " hello" and was waiting at the table for around 10 minutes. Finally I left... to be honest, there are way better places, where you can spend your money for food. Sorry, I can't recommend...
