Have heard about it since its first existence in Sham Shui Po (take out only back then, closed now). Today I finally had the chance to come to its MK outlet. It’s on a quiet street 2 blocks behind the bustling “sneaker street” but still easy to find. During busy dinner hour, it took me less than 5 min to wait in line outside. When you enter, you order and pay first. Then find a wall-facing seat on either side of the shop. It’s a fast food setting, but it’s clean, bright and comfy. Firstly, Liang Pi (clear flat noodles) has a texture of jelly cross clear noodles (but not chewy). Their base sauce totally complements the bland noodles (I went with “tiny bit” spicy 微辣 because I can request additional spiciness later if needed). For toppings I ordered pork belly which resembles japanese ramen cha shu and extra coriander. I personally think the baby dried shrimps are a must. They added so much flavor and crunch to every bite. A lovely detail is the toasted chickpeas instead of peanuts. They are healthier and can offer a more pleasant mouthfeel. I’m very impressed by this place for turning such a simple noodle into something that tastes so extraordinary. Worth a visit if you want a quick bite in this area next time. Support HK...
Read moreTwins Liangpi Limited (Mong Kok) is central situated in Kowloon in Hong Kong, not far away from the main shopping street Nathan Road (5 minutes walk) and just around the Argyle Street. The restaurant is recommended by the Guide Michelin, at last in 2025 with a Bib Gourment.
The restaurant is specialized in glass noodles. We were there for lunch and had cold and warm glass noodles. I ate for the first time cold noodles and they tasted very good and refreshing. Both noodle dishes were very delicious, with fantastic spices and fresh vegetables in a tasteful soup. You can choose the level of spiciness in 5 different grades for every dish individually.
The room is simple and clean, the dishes come very quick, the lunch took over all about 20 minutes. We payed less than 10 US-Dollars for two persons for lunch.
We would like to visit the restaurant at any time again. They have delicious dishes for lunch. It's Chinese streetfood in a real sense with a...

Delicious food as usual, 涼皮 is always cool enough and taste fresh. Sides(cucumbers, spring onion and stuff) are fresh as well. Their spice is not unique, but definitely one of the best as most of the spice in hk is quite shallow (expert in spice, don’t ask why)
The way they cook and freeze the 涼皮 is the key. They did a good job of keeping the standard even after getting recognition from Michelin, 維持高水準。
One point i would like to mention is how easy to get large portions of protein here: I’ve changed my diet since the last time having 兩姊妹 so i’m looking for something rich in protein. Their meat are usually pretty large in portions, as what I asked about grams of each portion of chicken, they said 70-80g so assuming it’s 75, you’ll get 23g protein, that’s a decent amount for gym rat like...
