Originating from Japan, this ramen joint has a Japanese “demon” theme design, indicating the spiciness of their signature ramen soup base. Yes they have a non-spicy version, but we went with the medium spiciness level. As a lover of coriander, there was no way we will say no to the coriander spicy ramen. The chashu pork was rich and flavourful and the spiciness is a Japanese medium (noting that the Japanese spiciness is typically a bit more mild compared to other cuisines).
The setting of the restaurant was cool, with a black and red theme and lots of demon head decorations. The bench seats meant we could see the chef prepare the ramen, which is cooked to order, so there would be a slight wait during peak hour.
Their ordering method is via a website, which they give you a link to via a QR code...

Read moreMy favorite Ramen place in HK. No menus, you order via a QR code scan and on your phone. The wait staff are all very clean and follow stringent protocols to keep the environment clean. There's very little interaction between the chef cooking the meal to having it on your table when it's nice and hot. Makes me feel very safe to come out and eat during this pandemic.
I had medium spice level and medium numb spicy. The soup had a wonderful kick to it. The pork is tender and flavourful. The egg is perfectly cooked for Ramen. OH! and the Ramen was al dente and the soup hugged it wonderfully. A most fabulous lunch if you like spicy Ramen.
I had the premium pork miso Ramen which cost $HK120. Definitely worth it and a fantastic Ramen...
