Liu Tong Beancurd Store — Restaurant in Kowloon

One of the 2 traditional tofu shop at the Mong Kok wet market. This has been here for as long as I remember.

Silky smooth and very soft texture with great soy bean aroma and flavour. The savory pan fried tofu was fantastic too when paired with the home made chilli sauce.

Love the traditional setting and old fashion bowl. Service is friendly and hospitable.

Great idea to buy some tofu, soy milk or fermented bean paste/chilli sauce home too.

An absolute must...

The shop is located within a wet market. The beancurd tastes amazing with the ginger sugar. Went around 10am and the pan fried tofu wasn't ready yet. Shop auntie was very nice and asked if we were willing to wait. Turns out it was worth the wait because it was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They have a beancurd-making factory at the back of the shop. Overall, love the old-school vibes and fresh...

Loved their tofu pudding (豆腐花) here. We ordered the pudding warm and added the brown sugar ourselves according to our taste. You can actually taste the freshness of it. It's very silky too. Big portion at only HKD 12. Would love to try their other soya products but had no room for it. Until next time!
