Very disappointed about the services and unhappy with the menu. First, the menu was not same as what I was offered when I paid during reservations via Klook. Second, one of the waitress was very bad mannered and not even provided reasonable services. This’s all you can eat menu for brunch. We based on the website menu from Klook and paid for a group of 10 people due to the temptation of old style dim sum, but they were not offered when we arrived. At first, one of the waitress came and apologized and offered each a glass of orange juice. Then the other waitress was so bad and rude to us when we placed order for additional din sum dishes. This became an unpleasant event and almost jeopardized our mood. I definitely will not recommend anyone to give it a try. Indeed, very bad experience for all of us.

Being a Chinese restaurant at a decent hotel in this area with this reputation, the food doesn’t live up with it .. the combination that chef wanted to bring maybe a bit too much, the bbq with mango just tasted weird, the bird nest bean curb didn’t really taste the bird nest. The smoked crispy chicken just had a wrong balance I. The taste and the supposed to be crispy skin. The only one dish which served well is the goose feet with pomelo skin. This was an expensive bill and it didn’t meet the standard. A lot of the dishes also ran out during ordering which wasn’t too late in the evening. Servers overall were helpful. Place was comfy to seat. Just not good value for money.

Underrated traditional Chinese restaurant in Kowloon Hotel (2/F) although the interior is unimpressive. Their menu offers a number of my childhood memory dishes. This time, my sis and I ordered a peking duck which tasted sooooo good. The skin was very crispy. The duck came with three different sauces and four side dishes to enjoy with. Aside from the duck, we ordered abalone, veggie and traditional desserts (sesame rolls and almond tea). The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful (which is not common in hk btw :p). Everything was above standard at very reasonable price. We enjoyed the night and will certainly come back.
