Qura Bar - Best Restaurant Bar — Restaurant in Kowloon

We visited in a group of six after a birthday dinner, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected.

Initial Welcome: Upon arrival, the lobby reception was welcoming and even provided us with water, which we appreciated since some of our friends were holding water from outside.

Rude Staff Interaction: However, once we reached the bar, one of the foreign staff members rudely confiscated our boxed water from the Regent team, questioning us with an unpleasant tone, “What’s this? This is from outside; you can’t have it here.” This was unexpected and quite disrespectful.

Mocking Behaviour: One of our friends placed a Bonaqua bottle on the table but wasn’t consuming it. The same staff member returned to mock us, saying, “Sir, your water is almost finished. Oh, I forgot you ordered TAP WATER,” in a mocking tone. This felt unprofessional and unnecessary.

Judgmental Attitude: When we asked for the whisky menu, a local staff member judged us with, “We have a lot of whisky; what do you want?” This lack of customer service was disappointing, especially in a high-end establishment.

Throughout the night, the team’s attitude was dismissive, while they were serving another expat table with politeness and respect. Last January 15,2025 mark my second year visiting hongkong and since the first time that i visited the country i was already fall in love and promise to comeback and enjoy some of luxurious taste of Hong Kong.

That’s why i choose Qura Bar to start our night with a sophisticated and elegant dining experience located at The Regent Hotel.

From the picture i know i will really enjoy the place and i was indeed happy with my choice.

The place was so stunning like do you know the feeling of watching the symphony of lights while dining inside Qura wow it was so special and its very perfect for those who are fun of taking their OOTD’S like me and wanted a Luxurious photo.

The staff are very friendly and highly accommodating (sadly i forgot her name thats why i poster her face here) her service gives my dining experience with my parents a memorable one.

The food are one of a kind as a person who tried different food from hotels like a 7 stars Atlantis The Royal in Dubai truly Qura Bar meet my taste buds damn so well.

Tucked away inside the Regent Hotel, this is one of the best bars I’ve been to. Service was impeccable, big shoutout to Preeti and Homan for making us feel welcome. Their attentive and friendly service really made our experience memorable. We walked into the bar without a reservation on a busy Saturday night. Initially we were seated in an overflow area as the bar was full, but we were escorted to a harbour view seat once available. Complimentary olives and a nut mix were provided whilst we made our cocktail selections and the staff helped us with recommendations. Drinks were great and the night view over the harbour was stunning. Highly recommend the pecan mille-feuille with truffle ice cream.
