Dinner buffet on a discount. I would give it a B in terms of variety, an A in terms of quality and an A in terms of pricing after the discount.
There are plenty of the more popular food such as the 焗蠔 and 龍蝦. They were gone the minute they were first served, but they kept coming back shortly, until no one gave them another look. 扇貝 was out at 7pm. The 鵝肝 was fried instead of grilled, and it was not exactly how people want them, I guess, so they were mostly left untouched. The cold food section was full of all kinds of seafood and people were all over them. 鮑魚 was limited to one per headcount.
The meat section served raw-medium beef. Japanese section served sashimi and sushi in good quality. Then there was a grill section, a Chinese 燒味 section, a desert section... Whatever you want in a buffet they have it, packed with some very well selected food.
My daughter complaint about the lack of a chocolate fountain and my wife some tiramisu, but I doubt they had the stomach for them anyway.
While it was definitely not cheap, I think it was a good bargain, probably a promotion during the covid-19 period. I'd say everyone should...

Seafood including Cancer pagurus. shrimps, Perna viridis, clam. They are fine. With the cold cuts, salad and soups, the appetizer is fine enough
The cooked beef is the best dish here I considered. They are well cooked with seasoning and soft. All dishes are cooked to tenderer intentionally which is appreciated. And the Hainanese chicken rice also delicious that the rice is with chicken flavor and the chicken is tender. But the chinese barbeque pork are overcooked and too tough.
For the desert part, the ready-to-cook crepe is outstanding with whipped cream and red bean sauce. Tiramisu and chocolate cake can't be missed neither. The cheese budding is uncommon but surprisingly acceptable for sweets.
Drinking bar is average that offering soft drinking, juice, tea and coffee.
To conclude, the items here are prepared and well average. With about HKD$350, it will be the quality expected...
Read moreThis is my go to late supper buffet place if I asked for recommendations. Decor and ambiance are very nice as there is a very high atrium, dim lighting, etc. Suitable both for a date or for large families (I've seen both).
Choice includes a good variety of hot dishes, sashimi, sushi, chilled crab legs, various cooked seafood, salad bar, soups, a noodle station, a congee station, etc. There is also a roasted meat carving station which can serve, depending on the night, roast pork belly, roast ham, etc. Hot dishes change throughout the night.
Their desserts are amazing--of particular note is tiramisu and their various napoleons which typically disappear fast. There is a crepe station but that's too filling for me. Ice cream is Haagen Dazs and usually four of the more common flavors are available. Never seen any specialty flavors, sadly.
Photos are from a few of my visits....
