Dining at The Point - Pizza & Pasta (The ONE) in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
The ONE shopping mall in Tsim Sha Tsui is home to a wide selection of enticing restaurants, and I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Point - Pizza & Pasta. As I approached the eatery, the tempting items on the menu immediately caught my eye, so I decided to step inside and give it a try.
To accompany our meal, we also ordered a bottle of wine, which proved to be an excellent pairing with the variety of Italian dishes we sampled.
The pizza I ordered, though I can't recall the exact name, looked quite appealing with its generous toppings. While the flavor was not particularly memorable, it was still a satisfactory pizza experience.
The Baked Macaroni and Cheese芝士焗通粉, however, was the real showstopper. As soon as I took a bite, the long, stringy cheese pulls became immediately apparent, and the dish was simply decadent. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the generous amount of minced meat added a delightful textural contrast.
The Italian Cured Meat Platter 意大利風乾火腿拼盤 was also a highlight, featuring a selection of delectable cured meats accompanied by fresh arugula, buffalo mozzarella, and cherry tomatoes - a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
Overall, my dining experience at The Point - Pizza & Pasta (The ONE) in Tsim Sha Tsui was...
Read moreGood Food but super bad services.
The waiter seems unhelpful , untrained and cannot explain the descriptions on the menu clearly. We were asking which page of the drinks on the menu can be added by paying was half price, the waiter with a black long sleeve shirt with bold head replied: 0係餐牌入面. Seems he cannot differentiate which drinks were included in the set menu and which costs extra.
Missed order, no apologies, and no response reply when we asked to follow up. We ordered 4 set lunches, one of them was miss-order, they only gave a response and took action the 3rd time we requested to follow up. They sent us another waitress to re-order the menu when the other rest of the lunches finished.
Un-deliver Desserts As the receipt attached, we order 2 executive menus, 2 desserts were included. As we felt ridiculous about the services and the 4th was late, we realized that the desserts were missing from the meal after we left the restaurant.
Wrong receipt, extra was meal charged The receipt was printed wrong, they charged extra executive menus at first, we checked and identified the mistake. Upon our questioning, a revised receipt was re-generated. I am doubting how many people were paying more due to the receipt was written in a learned language which was...
Read moreIn the past, The Point pizza has been quite tasty but in the last few months I have been to Tsuen Wan and today went The One. Very disappointed for both visits, the food quality has degraded significantly. We has the lobster set today and that lobster bisque was the worst soup I ever had, very salty, no lobster bisque taste at all. The lobster mac n cheese again is pointless, even normal mac n cheese is miles better. The lobster pizza has no surprise indeed. Now the service is no good, in the current covid 19 situation, there is no 1.5m distance between tables and even we requested they turned us down stating that section is closed. However, about 20 mins later they started to fill people in that section. Furthermore, the waiter just grap your cup with his bare hand. Despite the hygiene issue, the senior waiter is not friendly at all and just trying to finish serving the table like...
