Yamm — Restaurant in Kowloon

We had buffet dinner here again in September 2025 to celebrate my father's birthday but my dining experience was spoiled by a chef who accidentally poured hot steamed soup down my back wetting my white T-shirt, pants and shoes down to my socks without any apology!

Assistant Manager Kenneth was apologetic, he quickly offered assistance and sent a lady staff to accompany me to the washroom. We were given complimentary wine and cake which helped to make up a bit for the negative experience. Food quality was still good but staff service requires enhancement, one star off.

My family friends celebrated my birthday here in 2024 and I was surprised at how the food and service improved significantly from our last visit some years back. There was special discount available online and the food variety was very diversed and I would think it's the widest range on offer as compared to other buffets I have eaten in HK. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Sunday brunch buffet at Yamm with my family, and it was truly spectacular. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any food lover.

The variety of food was staggering, from luscious lobster and Alaskan crab legs to authentic Chinese delicacies like fish maw and bird nest udon. The 'Buddha Jumps Over the Wall' soup, Peking duck, and roast beef were cooked to perfection, showcasing a delightful fusion of Eastern and Western cuisines.

Lamb racks, sashimi, sushi, lobster wraps, and raclette cheese ensured there was something for everyone. Each dish was expertly prepared, reflecting the chefs' incredible skill and passion.

The drinks were equally diverse, with classic coffee, tea, and juice, as well as the special Yamm punch and champagne, all in free flow.
