HUGE disappointment regarding the $200 charge for simply cutting and eating a birthday cake at your restaurant. My family and I are currently dining at your restaurant , celebrating birthday, and while we have ordered food and drinks from your menu, we were shocked to learn about this unexpected fee. To our surprise, despite the fact that your restaurant DOESNT SELL birthday cakes, we are being charged $200 for bringing our own cake and celebrating here. This fee seems excessive and unreasonable, especially given that we are already paying customers. We chose your restaurant as the venue for our celebration, expecting to enjoy a memorable experience, but this charge has certainly dampened the mood. Does it make sense to charge your customer $200 when you NEVER EVEN SELL A CAKE?????? Attached their “dessert” menu. Didn’t sell a single cake and you penalise me for 200 DOLLAR for bringing a cake for my birthday celebration ????? In addition, if you want to penalise me for not buying your dessert, shouldn’t it be about the same as the price of your dessert??? $200 IS RIDICULOUSSSSS

Really good Vietnamese food in Gateway, with a northerner’s take and featuring a wide variety of lesser known dishes such as ban xeo. For its location the restaurant offers pretty reasonably priced selection of menu items. We ordered pho and half a three yellow roasted chicken. The pho was good, I especially liked the beef tongue, but maybe the soup could be served hotter. The chicken was roasted, flavorful, crispy skinned but with juicy meat. They gave us a super spicy chilli paste with the pho and I loved it. We booked a table and were given a larger table than those who didn’t make a reservation. Overall an easy experience particularly with parking options at harbor city.

I loved the Grilled Fish Roll, it comes with a housemade anchovy peanut sauce (quite spicy!) I actually enjoyed it more with a side of fish sauce :p The Sapa Eggplant Salad was also very refreshing! It was nice of the kitchen staff to put the fish sauce on the side instead of on the salad for us (upon request) ^^ The Wok-Fried Glass Noodles with soft shell crab was flavourful. The noodles they used was thin vermicelli noodles; I was actually hoping for thick glass noodles. The Signaute Beef Pho, on the other hand, was really good. It is loaded with roasted Angus prime rib, braised beef tongue, oxtail in a housemade 24-hour beef broth. I'd highly recommend it :)

This was a lucky find!

The prices are reasonable because the portions sizes are massive! Between two of us sharing a starter and having a main each it was about $250 per head for the dinner menu. The freshness of the ingredients and quality is really good. 🌱

We had the Soft Shell Crab, Beef Rib Pho and the Bun Cha Ca Phu Quoc (Fish Broth Vermicelli)

🦀The soft shell crab was a starter but the portion is gigantic so could easily be a main with a side. Honestly it’s the most delicious dish- it came with a gorgeous sweet creamy sauce with shallots and was cooked to perfection. There was also lime to squeeze over the top which worked well- although we could have done with a bit more. I would visit again and again just for this dish! ✨

🐠The fish broth vermicelli was good. It didn’t have much fish in it but the broth was fruity and fragrant and the pineapple was a delicious touch! The fish paste was made with dill which went well, but personally I preferred to eat it with their homemade chilli sauce as it needed elevating.

🐮 My friend had the beef pho and really enjoyed it. This dish is VERY garlicky so great for those who love garlic.

The atmosphere was ok, but the restaurant could benefit from better lighting so we could see what we were eating. If you are not seated on the leather banquette then the wooden chairs are uncomfortable and could really use...

I am a frequent visitor of Harbour city Normally, I will not leave review for resturant except for this "best" resturant in Harbour city. I think everyone should know that HK style shop. (Just like 澳洲牛奶公司 & 九記牛腩 ) If you like to pay and get insulting experience and pay 3 times price with the low quality resturant, please visit this resturant. My wife and I visit this resturant with our 5years old son at the end of 8pm. The waiter is only caring thier office hour (Last order is 9:30pm and Close at 10pm). I believe that is not the waiter decision only because he is just a small potato staff.

I should have more than 1 hour to enjoy my dinner , due to the staff prefect working attitude. I finally finish my dinner asap in 30 minutes and leave at 9:30 due to their extremely friendful attitude and enviroment. What should I expect for a resturant in Harbour city?

P.s. There are so many better resturant option in Harbour city. I hope people can select what is more suitable and worth for them.

E.g. Nana Thai ,shack shake, hexa...
