A small Raman shop 🍜with a real Japanese 🇯🇵 chef located at the entrance of the famous tourism spot Temple Street . We ordered the basic pork broth Raman ($88) and a “unique” side dish Cat Rice 貓飯 ($38).

You can picked the chewiness of your noodle (soft, normal and hard). The pork broth was thick in both meat flavour and texture (good enough to stick with the noodle 掛湯). The Cha Siu (pork) was suckling and tender, super nice. The saltiness was about right. Nice 👍.

I think you can’t find the Cat Rice elsewhere. This is a very small bowl of rice 🍚 mixed by chopped union, shallot, spring union, Dashi (木魚), egg🥚 and some more I can’t tell. Yummy 😋 .

Will definitely visit again. The shop said the one with pork+fish broth Raman and the one with scallops were their top sellers. Will...

Yes - no MSG or minimal, broth was flavourful and yet not overpowering. Ramen was al-dente, char siew was alright - I had better ones elsewhere. Partner preferred his mackerel one which I am not a fan of, each to its own taste buds . Overpriced, serving was little almost like entrée size Limited choice of food as well as seatings, sardines packed and stuffy Long wait to be seated. Will not been keen to join the queue in the summer considering it’s hot and humid and definitely not in the rain

Would I return for more? Very unlikely, not at that price point for that small serving. I’d rather hop on a plane to Japan and be spoilt for better and...

Paid my first visit on a weekday lunchtime time. There were 5 to 6 people queueing up. After around 15 minutes, I was seated. There were less than 20 seats in this Japanese ramen restaurant. Most of them were bar top seats with 2 to 3 small tables.

Placed order via mobile phone. The menu was simple with less than 10 ramen options.

Pick the chef recommended Scallops Pork Bone soup ramen. Wow, the broth was very yummy but not salty, excellent. The thickness was perfect. It came with 2 small Scallops which were really small.

The 2 slices of charsiu was ok. The ramen can carry the soup but the portion was...
