Shanghai cuisine 上海菜 is famous for its simmer-fry 紅燒 and stir-fry 煸燒. But nowadays we have various kinds of fusion elements, just like this restaurant. You can easily find 粵菜 Cantonese and 京菜 Beijing elements in the dishes and deco here. The place looks ordinary enough to provide a comfy stay for chinese. Specialty: the felicitious details it subtly convoys. These are to the liking of local cantonese (seems many local family enjoy dining here) and hopefully also unfold our traditions to foreign friends, so suitable in this touristic and friendly city. It is easier if you have a chinese friend with you, but not absolute need.
Peking Duck 片皮鴨 is delicious, pre-made pancake 春卷皮 is served, which can be improved. The Roasted Pig Cutlet 燒腩仔 is excellent, cripsy and aromous. The King Crab on Chicken Sauce 雞油花雕長腳蟹 displays the cantonese touches of freshness, and worth its price. Chicken in Wine 醉雞 is okay.
