Awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand for 13 consecutive years! The Prawn Roe Dry Noodles and the Crab Porridge were so good! The former features al dente and springy noodles made the traditional way using a bamboo pole to press on the noodle dough and the latter was so umami from an entire fresh crab. Special mention for the braised chicken feet - the flesh and cartilage comes off the bone very easily with a savoury taste from soaking up fully the braise sauce. But the pig intestines were only so so although there was no funky taste detected.

Read moreWe tried Lok Kei Noodle tonight. We walked into the first stall that had its doors open but found out later the restaurant has two seating areas and the washroom is in a third stall where they have refrigerators and equipment. The hostess/server was friendly and seated us. They have a picture menu and we ordered amounts suitable for the two of us. The marinated chicken feet was seasoned well and the meat was easily falling off the bones. The crab congee was delicious. The shrimp roe noodles were good. The fried fish balls were big, spongy and had the right chew to them. The balls came with a dipping sauce with a salted clam and fermented bean cured taste. I ended up using hot sauce. The restaurant is an old school diner. It would have been nice if they gave tea. I was hoping to see a beer or drink menu. Overall it was a good...
Read moreOn the taste rating, fishball is a must try. The fried wanton is beyond your normal wanton size, the wanton skin is big and crispy and doesn't have the ghee taste. The filling of the wanton has a prawn. The recommendation of the prawn roe wanton mee is not really a must try unless you love umani mee but there is no ingredients besides the noodles and the crispy powder. Probably wanton mee is a better choice. Fried beef horfun is a gd choice with really good wok hei. It was slightly burnt. The chicken feet with intestine is not really a must try. The intestine is a bit on the fatty side, don't have the intestine smell. Chicken feet is braised to...
