We stayed at Atour twice between 10th to 17th of October booking the Executive Room. The reception gave us a free upgrade the second time with a bigger room with balcony. Appreciate the gesture. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is walking distance from The Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Very near to Yu Garden too. Which are the must-visit places for tourists. We were able to walk to these places in a short time. The rooms were clean and the toiletries provided were of high quality. My wife especially loved the jasmine-taste toothpaste. Breakfast was excellent and at a very reasonable price. I really enjoyed the different dishes Chinese or Western. My favourite was the steamed dumplings. Free Night porridge made available between 9.30pm to 11pm was really something special. Although simple but it is a really thoughtful gesture to travellers who may need extra nutrition or filling up of the stomach before retiring for the night. The hotel lobby and lounge felt homely. There is a small library with interesting titles for guests with more time to spare. I found some interesting read. The staff were polite and very friendly. I made a call from Malaysia a few days before my stay and a nice chap Mr Han Chao took the trouble to confirm that my booking was OK calling me back after searching for some time. On the whole it was a very pleasant stay, and I will certainly choose Atour at Fuzhou Road again on our next trip...
Read moreWe had an enjoyable stay at Atour Bund. The location and closeness in proximity to the Bund plus the reasonable cost is a clear winner here. In addition to proximity to Bund and cost effectiveness, there are some notable standouts in service. First, the woman cooking the eggs last week Friday November 15th at the breakfast buffet has a very very friendly look to her while at the same time working very hard and taking pride in her work. A sincere look, eye contact from her making sure if we needed anything or not really struck me honestly. I just have a thing for sincere, honest, hard working people and while we barely talked, I’ll remember her for quite a while and wish her the best in my thoughts. All the employees in the brunch were fine also and working hard to busss tables, refill food etc. Additionally the front desk crew. They all were very friendly, all young, and reminded me a bit like my nephew and niece though older. Energetic, friendly, easy to work with, and helpful. Note this hotel does not have a restaurant working all hours of day. I saw a ton of food deliveries being made which is convenient using the danping app most likely. The free self serve laundry is very convenient and welcomed. Rooms themselves were adequate. For me the people mentioned made the stay best, the proximity to Bund, and fair price is a winning...
Read moreService is top notch. We’ve stayed at various hotels in China but none came close to Atour’s service. Efficient, effective, excellent. They even prepared a birthday surprise for my child and it really made him so happy. Breakfast was a good and sufficient spread with 1-3 changes every 2 days or so. Location: Just a couple streets away from the bund. We took a didi to all other locations. Room: Quite small for our family of 2A 2C. For the price we paid, we had hoped for more space. Facilities: Best laundry room any traveller can ask for - you put your laundry in, the staff was move it to the dryer/fold it for your collection when you get back. Deliveries: food is delivered to your room by the robot. Parcels are kept the front desk.Improvements that can be made: the kids were quite bored and it would have been so much better if there was something to keep them entertained. Thank you Atour for such a great stay. We will definitely be choosing to stay at other Atour hotels when we next...
