We went as a group of seven for a birthday celebration trip. Made a reservation ahead of our trip and how lucky I was to make this find!

The place was small but super cozy. The atmosphere was great. We were lucky enough to have the top floor. Due to our group size, it feels like we were having the whole place to us. The view was spectacular too, overseeing the Venetian (? I guess) with wide open windows.

As for the food, everything I had tasted great. Love the roast suckling pig, so tender and juicy. The rib eye was tender and flavourful. Well… I’m not a food critic, so all I could say is that I like the food that night :)

Last but not least, the staff! Our waiter was attentive and always here at the right time. Made good recommendations to us and assisted us when needed. They definitely made our meal more enjoyable.

It was surely one of the highlights of our trip. Do make a reservation ahead of time though coz seats seem to be limited. I would recommend this gem to anyone who is planning...

Decent petite Portuguese restaurant at Taipa just around the corner of the bustling Main Street. We can’t comment whether it’s authentic or not cos we’re not Portuguese but flavor wise we love every single dish. They stated all ingredients are directly from Portugal, and the dishes reminded us of the days we went to Lisbon. Toast sardines are not for everyone cos of the bones, but if you’re good at that, you’ll love this dish . Never seen sardines so fresh and this size. The duck pot rice and clam dish are both a must too. Full of flavors.

I will revisit them when I’m in Macau for Portuguese food. Book in first cos it’s small and cozy. Staff are very...

We really wanted to have Portuguese food and saw the raving reviews for Alma, so gave it a try. Service was wonderful, the staff was very nice. The atmosphere was very cozy but a bit tight-fitting...I wasn't sure if the entrance was actually the entrance considering the tables were right up against the door.

Food: we ordered the lobster bisque, tomato soup, grilled cod fish and two mocktails. The bisque was tasty but lobster was tough. The tomato soup was very bland (skip it). The fish was very tasty though!

Price: it's a bit on the expensive side so it's more of a treat than a dine here every week kind of experience.

Side note: helps to have a...
