Pastelaria Fong Kei is one of the famous place located along Rua do Cunha that is recognised by the Michelin Guide as a street food worth seeking out in Macau. This small shop in Taipa has been serving up signature almond cookies, wife cakes and other Macanese style snacks here since 1906. Opening hours around 10am until around 9pm(ish) daily.
Unlike other local pastelaria in Macau, Fong Kei hasn't expanded throughout Macau. This is a single shop business where snack foods are made and sold daily. No sampling like what you find at the more commercial local bakeries but what is sold here is very good.

Note: If you arrive first thing in the morning, you can walk right into the shop and make purchase. Otherwise, expect a queue of 8-10 people for the rest of the day. The line moves at a fair pace so you won't have to wait long but do expect to be a bit patient walking into the shop if you arrive midday.
In the end, this is a fun food stop to make if you want to sample traditional Macanese speciality snacks at a long standing...
