Really cute coffee shop. They say no dine in but you can dine in. We made a reservation but didn’t really need one. The service is really good and so was most of the food
Reason for 4 stars...
We ordered a flat white and a latte both were really good but why would you put a hot beverage in a glass cup it makes it super hard to pick up and drink?!?! They should rethink that one..
For food we ordered the açaí bowl, grilled chicken salad, huevo al gusto, and the arepa
The açaí bowl was pretty good not the best ever but if you have a craving for one it will do the trick
The grilled chicken salad.. AMAZING, they fry corn kernels and I seriously have to figure out how to do that when I get home it was the perfect crunchy texture. Grilled avocado? Okay I’ll take it and the seared tomato isn’t my thing but it wasn’t soggy so I ate one
The huevo al gusto is basic it’s an egg either scrambled or fried with a piece of toast nothing to rave about.. I didn’t even take a photo
Okay now the arepa... I’ve been on the hunt for a good arepa and I thought this could be it but it wasn’t. I’m not saying it was bad but the actual arepa was flavorless and they could have used a finer ground maize. Now on the other hand the shredded beef inside was so good 😳 wow. It came with a cheese on the side I’m thinking it was panela but they made it too greasy for me by putting an oil over it. The creamy guacamole was super good I preferred it over the grilled avocado. I recommend they switch out the grilled avocado for the creamy guacamole on the salad cause the flavors just really went well.
We ordered bacon on the side I like mine more well done but it was still good
So if your in the area check it out even if it’s just for...
Read moreI really wanted to leave this place a great review, because initially service was good with a waiter guy, but then his shift was over. The chai was great and the almond croissant was decent, but then when it came time to pay, the cashier guy tried to cheat me out of $15-20 COP. I’m visiting from the USA and don’t speak English. Only when I said something and counted out the money, he gave me 10 extra COP, but then I told him he was still short and told a woman he is cheating me, and then he gave me the rest lol. If you’re a foreign visitor, watch this place, because they will get over if they think you’re dumb and can’t count. This is the second place out here that...
Read moreHad a very nice breakfast at Azahar. It has a nice urban chill vibe and a large seating space. Great choice for my first meal in bogota.
What I loved most:
✅ selection of fresh juices such as mango and pineapple, orange etc ✅ vegan options on the menu: oat pancakes with bananas and strawberries, avocado-toast ✅ Nice terrace surrounded by two large trees and large plants ✅ friendly service with fast food ✅ Coffee served with almond milk
❎ croissants, pan au chocolate etc not to be compared with what we are used to in Europe so you may be disappointed. ❎ right on the Main Street with traffic going by - if you want more silence I recommend sitting inside
April...
