If I could get them 0 stars I would. All the food was terrible, the lasagna was just dry ground beef with 2 layers of pasta with some cheese on top that don’t even melt. The Minestrone is simple an insult to Italian cuisine ! Was just a clear broth with peas and carrots and celery and the “Artisanal” pasta was juts groceries store brand Penne through in there. Even thought both the lasagna and the minestrone were returned they were charge. I don’t care much about that but then while paying for the bill after handle them cash to the waiter he proceed to tell me money was missing. I knew I counted correctly but luckily my mother in law saw he had the money “missing” hidden behind his hand. After confront him and demand the managers all the staff run towards us to silent us and saying was a confusion while telling us to leave the restaurant. This just let me think the other staff is involved ! Please make yourself a favor and avoid this disgrace of “Italian” restaurant like the plague, it’s just a...
Read moreMy girlfriend vomited and was groaning in agony the whole taxi ride home. I wanted to show her what a good eggplant parmesan is like so I ordered that along with the bruschetta and minestrone thinking they would be difficult to mess up. The eggplant was very bitter, I do not think it was salted and rinsed before getting baked and it was not breaded in the typical Milanese style. The minestrone was just thick, chunky tomato sauce with a skimpy amount of zucchini and some big ziti noodles. No cheese, beans, or vegetables in it. The bruschetta was served on fresh bread but it was thick and had not been toasted which is the normal way to make bruschetta, over thin, toasted slices of baguette. The coconut limeade was really good at least, being a Colombian staple. I am glad we stopped there before it was too late and did not order anything else. This place has potential, please do your research on...
Read moreThe sangria was mediocre. 50k for a half liter of liquid and fruit that supposedly contains alcohol? No thank-you. Gnocchi? Skip it. Deep fried for a few hours longer than necessary and oozing with oil. The pesto sauce was fresh-tasting but lacking pine nuts or any other defining flavors while containing a basket of oil. The ricotta cannelloni was fine. A bit plain, but what could I expect for the mere price of 40k? Nevertheless, this was the best dish ordered and that is saying a lot. The table next to us complained endlessly about the tiramisu they had for dessert. The service was slow but very attentive to detail.
The sole redeeming factor of this restaurant was the decor and ambiance. Spectacular decoration that makes the place feel like home. Probably one of my top 5 restaurants I have visited in...
