Last night we had a very unpleasant experience, my husband and I usually go to Cassio and Pepe every time we are in Bogota, usually the waiters always have very good attention with us, but last night we arrived 20 minutes late and the girl who received us at the entrance was very rude, in a scolding tone she told us that we were very late and there were no more tables, my husband asked if we could wait at the bar for a table asking her if it could be around 20 minutes, to which she replied that she did not believe it, however we went to the bar and from there we saw a couple of unoccupied tables on the outside, we waited for 20 minutes absolutely no one offered us a menu for a drink, we had to ask other customers and even so we did not manage to order a drink, we did not receive any attention at the bar for 20 minutes, we even saw those empty tables in the back for the entire time we were there and we were We were surprised to find that other people had not been able to place their orders either, so some people started to leave and of course we also left the place. Fortunately, there are several restaurants nearby and one of them served us spectacularly and the food was...
Read moreGo somewhere else to spend your money ! We were staying at Hotel EK & this restaurant was just adjacent to the hotel . We decided to have dinner there due to being so close to our hotel . We got there & the server was very unfriendly, we felt she was bothered by us being there . We got a table & were ignored for about 15 minutes despite the place not being busy . The pepperoni pizza that my husband had was wonderful . The white wine was sour / fermented taste . The pasta with seafood was a completely different story . It was tasty , but it had way too much sauce . Way too much. The seafood consisted in 4 clams each the size of a peanut , overcooked, ruberry ONE little shrimp ! I was already eating it when I realized that I had ONE shrimp & a lot of pasta & I did not want the aggravation to deal with returning it since the server did not speak English. This is so disrespectful to your clients . Because most people are tourists and do not keep coming back it does not mean that you can do this . So , if you want to pay almost double for a pasta dish with ONE shrimp & unfriendly service, go there...

Ordered Ossobuco and it was horribly undercooked and full of cartilage. I just ate a few pieces before giving up and just consumed the pasta.
Spent a solid two hours afterward having my business meeting when my stomach starts hurting really badly. Ended up with two bouts of major diarrhea and just made it back to my hotel.
Before you ask, I've been drinking bottled water the entire 3 weeks I've been in Bogota and my stomach is usually made of iron. It's definitely the food and when I complained about the quality of the meat in the first place they didn't do anything to fix it.
I would love a refund frankly & I will never go back there again as...
