Chef Burger Parque 93 — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

I really wanted to give Chef Burger 5 stars, and I was going to until it all went really really bad. Let me explain. The resteraunt was only half full, not busy by any means. The service at first seemed slow - it took 10 minutes for our beers to come out after we ordered, and when they did the order was wrong. Still the atmosphere was great and didn’t really create too much concern. The burgers were amazing and we all said we would definetly come back.. but then it went really bad. We ordered a desert. We were told it would take 15 minutes and we were good with that. We expected our burger plates to be taken away - but they were not and as we looked around tables that had left the resteraunt 30-40 minutes earlier still had their dirty plates on the table. So or 15 minute desert didn’t come, but they asked us to pay the bill - the resteraunt was still going to be open for hours. After 30 minutes and after paying we asked again for our desert and were told sorry, there aren’t any clean plates to serve you with. We waited another 5 minutes and decided to ask for a refund and just leave.. Long story short 20 minutes later finally got the refund and left. What a fantastic place! Service is great, feeling is amazing, but the most important thing, food is delicious.

I tried the Sriracha burger, not as spicy as expected but the spicy mayo by the side did the trick, adding an original feeling as mixed with the cole and mushrooms. Side of rustic fries with the remainder of the spicy mayo and some barbecue sauce was a nice addition. And oven-heated cookie, filled with nutella and topped with scoop of ice cream, great way to finish dinner. God, where should I start. We were the 2nd table to sit at lunchtime on a Thursday. They took ONE FULL hour to serve us 3 hamburgers and 2 saladas. I mean, Colombia at large is very well known for their horrible service, so I don't complain every single time I have to wait for 45 min to get my meal, that's the norm. But this place was empty. 3 cooks, 3 servers maybe 4 tables (that came after us). Also, I ordered a salad that was a very small portion mainly meat to be a side but with the price of a main dish.
