El Mono Bandido La 93 — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

It’s a Monday night. There are approx 13 tables and 2 servers, 3 people behind the bar/not serving.

Where do I start, first, the food is good and burgers are worth the money. The issues I have are:

One of the servers isn’t interested in being server, she’s talking to the other staff ignoring the beer waiting to be served. The bartender who’s got earbuds in his ears, is talking to someone all while trying to change the music, not working so well is it? Now, I will say we watched one of the servers run around and help every table including ours. I asked for her name, she didn’t give it, but recognized the service was slow.

Could it be a language issue? Nope, watched a local or at least Spanish speaking couple get up, walk to the bar to ask about their food. Funny enough, our food was brought out by the chef. Nice and hot. However, apparently it takes less time to cook fries and a burger then it does to pour a beer and deliver it.

For the owner, your staff turned away a group of 6. Apparently because you were full with reservations. We’ve been here for 2.75 hours and the tables haven’t shown up. I guess you don’t mind that loss of business?

The bar is ok, the style is quite nice and makes you feel as if you're drinking "outdoors", but the tables (and chairs) are uncomfortable. The beer is actually good, but I wouldn't recommend the food; portions are too small compared to the price on the menu.

The bar has this weird thing where you can fill parts of a text in a napkin in order to flirt with a stranger and that is delivered by a waiter to the person of your choice. It feels a little weird, but at the end I guess it can be sort of fun

Estuvimos en la 93 y la atención fue terrible, una mesera fue absolutamente invasiva, se sentó en nuestra mesa en la chaqueta de mi amigo, le quitó su silla y se sentó interrumpiendo nuestra conversación y diciendo; mis amores, vengo a cobrarles porque ya nos vamos, no eran ni las 2 am. Con vocabulario ordinario y grosera. Luego llega la persona de servicios generales a decir; si van a usar el baño, use lo ya porque ya me voy y no pueden ensuciar nada (con gritos) que experiencia tan terrible no se con qie filtros están contratando pero de esta manera, no se atiende ni en una plaza de mercado. Aparte le hicimos saber nuestro descontento a la persona encargada, una tal Yus, ( así le decian) pero le importó 5, solo decia; es que este es un sitio parchado. Terrible, siempre habíamos ido al de quinta Camacho y allá la atención es impecable y siempre nos sentimos como en casa, pero la experiencia que vivimos el pasado sábado 19 de octubre de 2024, hace que no volvamos a este establecimiento nunca más y que se sepa , porque no es justo que hagan semejantes cosas, con los clientes y más, cuando lo frecuentamos tanto tiempo.Terrible y no recomiendo jamás este sitio. ( no me imagino yo, sentandome en la mesa de mis clientws, sacando a uno de sus familiares y haviendo cuentas delante de los clientes y quedándome en la mesa ajena despues de que todos se quedan en silencio por semejante comportamiendo de...
