A Fantastic Sushi Experience at Wok 90

We were craving sushi and decided to go for Wok’s Canoa, a beautifully curated selection of nigiris, sashimis, and a maki of our choice—and what a great decision it was! From the start, we were curious to explore more of their offerings, so we asked our waitress if we could order extra portions of specific fish. Instead of giving us a simple yes or no, she called over their sushi expert, who not only answered our question but also enthusiastically walked us through the different fish available that day.

His knowledge and attitude made the experience even better, but what truly blew us away was the quality and freshness of the fish. Two standouts for us were the pirarucú from the Amazon and the sierra from the Caribbean coast—both incredibly flavorful and delicate, with a quality that far exceeds what you’d expect at Wok’s price point.

Beyond the food itself, what makes me appreciate Wok even more is their commitment to sustainable and responsible fishing. Knowing that they source their fish through artisanal, eco-conscious practices makes the experience even more satisfying. Honestly, this should be the standard in the restaurant industry—a more conscious and responsible approach to seafood consumption that respects both the environment and the people behind the catch.

Excelente experiencia en Wok. El ambiente es moderno, acogedor y bien diseñado, ideal tanto para almuerzos casuales como para cenas tranquilas. Es mi primera vez en Wok, soy de Panamá y estoy de visita. Me encanto todo lo que comí, desde los wontons hasta el yaki-meshi y comí de las costillitas de mi esposo tiernas y exquisitas, que decir del postre! Todo muy rico!
