Real southern-style BBQ in a pretty ideal setting.
The meats are slow cooked properly or smoked to perfection. The brisket is so tender and flakey with excellent flavor. Pulled pork is the perfect balance of meaty and soft. The owner makes sauces you definitely can’t get anywhere else in the city… Carolina BBQ sauce and a couple others. Mac and cheese is spot on + other sides just as tasty.
Icing on the cake: a little yard with swings for kids. My 3 year old was occupied for 1.5 hours in between tasty bites.
