Having discovered this gem on the second day of a week in Cartagena, it became a daily afternoon trip for my mom and me, including one time for dinner after an especially filling lunch. The ice cream is delicious, served in coconut shell bowls, a local product. The ice cream is made on premises and the flavors were different each day, with just a few repeats from day to day. I believe I tried about fifteen different flavors of ice cream, many made with local fruit that you don't typically get to try in the states. My friends and I decided to try this place instead of our usual/preferred places because it was listed as one of the top places to get gelato in the city. The write up also said there were over 100 flavors to choose from (which was not actually the case). I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the location, the staff are friendly and it’s very clean. The rating is more a reflection of the disappointment/misinformation.
