The food was fine. The drink we had which was a sparkling passion fruit mint was delicious. But the service was atrocious. They pointed us to a table and we sat for like ten minutes before someone even came to acknowledge us. The waitress looked impatient and kept tapping her nails on her tablet the entire time she was taking our order. Didn’t came check on us once after that or after she came back and gave us our meal. The one time we managed to get her attention to ask for something she looked like we were bothering her with our question. When she cleaned the table next to us she ended up spraying me with the cleaning spray. She definitely saw that since we made eye contact but she didn’t even apologize just kept cleaning. When she came back to set that table she’d cleaned I noticed each chair had a plate put in front of them with a napkin and utensils. At my table they only put one plate in the middle with both our utensils on it and only a single napkin. Overall I wouldn’t come back again and wouldn’t personally recommend anyone else go either. Food is mid. And the service was horrible. You could probably stop for a...
Read moreA beautiful café with two levels, featuring stunning high ceilings on the second floor adorned with artwork depicting architecture and history. The menu included allergy labels, which we initially appreciated—until we realized they were not entirely accurate or comprehensive. For example, the Waffles de Yuca were labeled as lactose-free, vegan, and gluten-free, yet they were served with a whole egg on top—an ingredient that is not vegan-friendly.
Additionally, the açaí bowl arrived partially frozen with noticeable ice chunks. When I requested it to be warmed up, the staff initially explained that açaí is traditionally served cold but eventually blended it to adjust the texture. Their kids waffle dish was also disappointing. Why would you advertise an elaborate bear head waffle and just give some random thing to customers? (See photos).
My favourite dish was the Cayeye de la Casa—incredibly flavorful and unique.
Overall, the staff was friendly, but if you have food allergies, I recommend double-checking the menu, as the labelling may not be entirely reliable. They had high chairs...
Read moreBeautiful place. We had a Colombian breakfast that was very good. But I have to say that the attention of the waiters totally disappointed me. In general, it seemed to me that they were attentive to everything else but not the clients. You talked to them or asked them for something and they didn't even listen to you or pay attention to you. Also, right at the table next to me there were 2 tourists who didn't speak Spanish, and the waitress insisted on giving them instructions in Spanish so they could read the menu on their cell phone, but the Wi-Fi didn't work for them. I had to tell the waitress (obviously in Spanish) to please bring them a paper menu and finally she brought them a tablet so they could order. Finally, when we were leaving, I wanted to go to the bathroom but a supervisor or manager was at the bathroom door and told me that someone was inside. After 10 minutes I asked the same person: Are you sure there is someone inside there? ? and she opened the door and NO ONE WAS THERE. And this happened because they were more attentive to everything except...
