Lemonade w/ Jamaica - 0/5 Turkey and Egg Sandwich - 0/5

I was seated next to the counter and given a menu. I was ignored by the waitress for about 15 minutes. The gentleman that sat me down came over to ask how everything was and told him I didn’t order yet. I ordered with him.

After about 10 more minutes the lemonade arrived. It was awful. Super tart and sour and made with some awful tasting mash they poured in for the Jamaica.

After 20 more minutes of sitting there, still no food. The gentleman that sat me down asked if I got the food yet and I told him no. He said he would go check but I asked to pay for the drink and leave. It had been almost an hour of wasted time sitting there. He told me that I didn’t have to pay for the drink and could leave.

As I was walking out the kitchen staff was sitting together at a table talking and the waitress in my section was leaning up on the counter talking to them. None were working and they all gave me a dirty look as I walked out.

If you like wasted time and lazy ineptness, this is the spot to come. I would avoid...

Ordered via Rappi Overall was good. Order the Mediterranean salad. The "Club"(Which is not an actual 'club' sandwhich, but rather a chicken breast sandwhich with tocineta). And the Roast Beef Sandwhich with tomato soup.

The salad was fine, and fresh and crisp ingredientes. The chicken sandwhich was good(though not a club). good size, great bread, and lots of fresh veggies.

The Roast Beef sandwich was very disappointing. The bread was great, good fresh veggies and good sauces, however the actual roast beef itself was bad. The photo shows a sandwich with nice pink, medium rare roast beef but what arrived was way overcooked, completely brown and therefore dry, chewy and flavorless. Plus kind of was just wadded up into unpalatable chunks and stuffed onto the sandwich. I took the roast beef off the just ate the sandwich without the meat and it was okay. The tomato soup that came with, was pretty flavorless as well and watery. Basically tomato flavored water.

Apart from those things, the food was decent though, I would order again. I would just avoid the roast...

Fabulous ambiance and the food rises to the challenge!!

So glad I found this place with time left in my trip because checks all the boxes. A wide variety of savoury dishes, as well as healthier choices if you were watching your calories.

I had the Benedict waffles were outstanding. A thinner waffle compared to what were used to in North America, but the flavours in this dish certainly made up for it! Spicy! Creamy! crispy! / and fresh! 9/10

I had the Carnitas sandwich as well. I needed to try some of their in-house bread. Also, amazing. Was not mad at all that I had half a sandwich to take home for a snack later. 8/10
