Nice hotel, really cool elegant crowd. Unfortunately, the service, food, and drinks at this bar don’t stand up to the hotel. Much better option for food, drinks and service inside the same hotel is Naufrago.
Egeo has one of the most arrogant bartenders we’ve encountered in Medellin. They told us they have the best bartenders in Medellin, they know how to make classic cocktails and variations with balance. In the end it was all hype and no substance. They can’t make a basic Negroni, Last Word, or bijou drinkable. We tried the espresso martini and another cocktail from the menu and they were photogenic but not well made. Their skills are more akin to night club bartenders.
Food is pretty good for cafe level food but prices closer to fine dining prices so completely overpriced considering Carmen, La Sere, Mekong and other much better close by at similar or lower prices. So they’re completely overpriced for the type and quality of food.
We can only speak for the service at the bar. Service is sometimes hospitable but incompetent. For example, you’ll see bartenders talking to one customer or each other but completely miss all the customers at the bar still waiting to order, waiting for a menu, waiting for water, etc. it took us 15 mins to get a menu our first and 12 mins the second time. It left us wondering, who’s running this place and why would Click Clack partner with the operators...

Read moreThe dining experience was a mix of good and bad. On the positive side, the restaurant's environment is fantastic. It's spacious and quiet enough to enjoy a conversation without having to shout, which is a big plus. The staff were also wonderful—extremely friendly and apologetic when a major issue arose. However, the food was a letdown. My friends and I ordered several dishes, and most were unappetizing. The octopus was overly salty, and both the chicken and pasta were completely bland. The only dish we enjoyed was the short ribs. The most concerning issue, however, was a significant health hazard. One of the salads was served with a bug in it. The restaurant serves unchopped, full romaine lettuce, and it's clear they don't have a proper method for cleaning it. I'm concerned about the sanitation practices in the kitchen and believe a clean salad is far more important than a "fancy" presentation. While the staff did their best, I was surprised that the chef never came out...
