Delirio Exquisito — Restaurant in Medellín

Oswaldo was a very helpful server. He recommended me to 3 of the most popular dishes at this restaurant. He knew when I need a hot sauce and was very attentive. Also, he spoke very good English probably The most well versed so far.

The granidated burrito. The protein was awesome with guacamole and hot plate. I chose beef and it was soft and tender and well marinated. Was a bit much on the cheese. But over all, well made. Make sure to ask for the hot sauce. Comes in a dripper. So careful. lol I ordered the mix, berry and banana blackberry smoothie. The flavor was amazing. Wish it could have been a little colder and a smidge less sweet. But overall, this was probably the best smoothie I tried in Columbia thus so far flavor wise. At last I ordered the churro and ice cream sandwich came with a nice raspberry jam sauce. And a caramel like condensed milk spread across the plate, nice artwork, and the churro was nice and crispy and made into a circular design.

With much expectation we visited this restaurant hoping for a delicious lunch. We arrived at 2pm, ordered three dishes (having been told there were no avocados left), and waited, and waited and waited. The dishes we ordered (some char-grilled sweet corn, and some tacos), should have taken at most 30 minutes to prepare. Over an hour later our prawn tacos arrived. The prawns were raw, so we sent them back. Half an hour later they arrived back, exactly the same. The waited said the prawns were pre-prepared (yuck). The small bowl of avocado (which must have been made from an unripe avocado), was tough and chewy. This was a total disaster. The manager, should have salvaged this sorry situation, but failed to do so. Big mistake. We left and will definitely not...

Easily the worst restaurant that I've tried in Colombia.

The corn and cheese was bland which needed some salt. It was canned corn too which wasn't great. For entrées, the chicken tasted like it was from the freezer isle like and microwaved. The fried rice had way too much seasme oil which overpowered the flavor and was too greasy. The salmon was salty with their sauce.

Overall, there are plenty of better places to eat. I'm surprised with all the positive reviews because this place...
