Maybe our expectations were too high, but we were really underwhelmed with this place. The food which is not cheap, wasn't really that good. I feel like they try too hard with the plating and decorations of the dish, but it actually ruins the experience. The mashed potatoes (that were almost liquid) became cold in two seconds because they were smeared on the plate like a sauce. The octopus was too salty, and the rest of things in the plate had no taste.
The service is really bad. When we first arrived and were given the menus, the waiter seemed too pushy to take our order as soon as possible, we basically had to choose any dish because he kept asking if we were ready. Also, There seems to be a really bad communication problem between the staff because we were asked 3 times if we wanted entrances or if we were ready to order, once we had already asked for the check at the end.
Finally, even though we had made reservations previously, they sat us at the worst table in the place. In a far away corner so dark that we could barely see each other.
On a good note, the drinks (fruit sodas) were really good,...
Read moreIncredible ambience. It gives me Tulum beach-club vibes. I got the Tuna Tataki as a starter and WOW. It was absolutely incredible. The flavor profile of the Peruvian Chili Sauce and the coriander oil was incredible. And the softness of the Tuna.. just wow. I wouldn’t miss out on this. For the main, I got the Picanha Truffle. The beef was exquisite. Cooked perfectly at medium rare and super flavorful. The cheese rice at the bottom of it was very salty however, which resulted in the steak being a little too salty. For the Nigiri’s, I got the Maguro Foie, Crispy Foie, and Tartufo Sake. The Maguro was very tasty. Ahi tuna was splendid. The Crispy Foie was okay. I’m not a fan of Eel so didn’t enjoy it. And the Tartufo was interesting. The citrus paired with the salmon brought an interesting flavor profile that I didn’t really like or dislike. I would give this place...
Read moreI honestly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant as a priority or a top 10 restaurant to go to in Medellin. The food was subpar besides Entraña Panka. Our waiter was super super slow, and at first we gave him the benefit of the doubt because maybe he was busy, but there were times he was just standing while we haven’t even out in our appetizers in yet (mind you about 15 mins after putting in our cocktails in). The cocktails were good but nothing unique. The real kicker here was when we got our bill, we were charged for an extra 2 shots that we never got. The manager apologized but when we were leaving the server didn’t seem like it was an accident, he didn’t come by to clarify or anything. recap, poor service and subpar food. The aesthetic is nice but not...
