This restaurant is a hidden gem in Medellin. Everything on the menu is authentic Spanish cuisine and tastes exactly like the food you would eat in Spain. We came here twice just for the paella alone. It's a close second to the original in Valencia. All of the food is delicious and the chef really takes their time to make sure all the dishes come out to perfection. I would highly recommend the croquettes, and any of the paellas. The restaurant itself is cozy and gives you a homey vibe. The restaurant staff is phenomenal, they’ve got a very nice peaceful restaurant with a very Mediterranean vibe. This would be my top restaurant recommendation in all of Medellin, definitely worth treating yourself on your first or last night in town or maybe a couple times 😋
When visiting it is a bit hard to notice, look for the cardboard cutout of a woman holding paella and the sign reads “El Payes”
