Soy Local Primavera — Hotel in Medellín

Update: The responses from the apartment management seem sympathetic; however, on the evening and night in question, we raised our concerns and there was absolutely no understanding. None at all. They refused to accommodate us in any way after a sleepless night for five people. We even involved the police, who documented the complaint. Of course, I understand that you can't control a nightclub, but you can report the decibel levels that are blasting your ears (even with earplugs, it was deafening), and you could consider soundproofing the place. Curtains would also be nice; we felt like we were on display. I would not recommend this apartment; you will regret it. Unless, of course, you're planning to party until 4 a.m., then it might suit you perfectly.

Después de una noche sin dormir para cinco personas, se negaron a acomodarnos de cualquier manera. Incluso llamamos a la policía, que documentó la queja. Por supuesto, entiendo que no se puede controlar una discoteca, pero se puede informar sobre los niveles de decibelios que están destrozando los oídos (incluso con tapones, era ensordecedor), y podrían considerar insonorizar el lugar. Las cortinas también serían útiles; nos sentimos como si estuviéramos en un escaparate. No recomiendo este apartamento; te arrepentirás. Una pesadilla absoluta: esta no es un lugar para descansar.

Nuestra estancia en este apartamento fue de todo menos agradable. El edificio está mal aislado, con huecos y aberturas visibles alrededor de los marcos de las ventanas, lo que deja entrar corrientes de aire constantemente. Lo que es aún más preocupante es que el apartamento está ubicado directamente sobre una discoteca. El ruido es tan abrumador que parece que estás en medio de una fiesta o festival, y continúa hasta las cuatro de la mañana.

Nos alojamos aquí con tres niños un martes, y lamentablemente fue imposible dormir tranquilos. Lo peor es que no hubo ninguna posibilidad de compensación o descuento, a pesar de la noche en vela. La administración afirmó que no podían hacer nada con respecto a la discoteca y que no eran responsables de ella, pero lo mínimo que podrían hacer es advertir en el momento de la reserva.

En resumen, si no eres un ave nocturna o no vienes por la vida nocturna, este apartamento es absolutamente inadecuado. El alto costo simplemente no justifica la falta de comodidad y descanso.

An absolute nightmare – not a place for rest.

Our stay at this apartment was anything but pleasant. The building is poorly insulated, with noticeable gaps and openings around the window frames, letting in constant drafts. Even more concerning is that the apartment is located directly above a nightclub. The noise is so overwhelming that it feels like you're right in the middle of a house party or festival, and it goes on until four in the morning.

We stayed here with three children on a Tuesday, and unfortunately, a peaceful night's sleep was impossible. The worst part is that there was no possibility of any compensation or discount, despite our sleepless night. The management claimed they couldn't do anything about the nightclub and that they weren't responsible for it, but the least they could do is provide a warning at the time of booking.

In short, if you're not a night owl or not here for the nightlife, this apartment is absolutely unsuitable. The high cost simply doesn't justify the lack of...

2-1/2 STARs. Basically equivalent to a Motel 6 that's 20 years old. Booked a room w 2 double beds for 4ppl but was given only 1 bed & 1 futon couch. The futon couch isn't located in front of the TV, so that was rather odd. Room did not have a closet or dresser for your clothes so they must remain in suitcases. The room did have a small kitchenette & refrigerator. The shower is large w sliding glass door. The shower does not have a ledge to place items on, so they must go on the floor. Toilet & sink are jammed in the remaining small area of the bathroom. We were only given 2 towels & 2 hand towels (NO WASHCLOTHES) because it was the weekend & laundry was until Monday. Drying off after a shower was a bit challenging unless you do not care if your towel rubs up against the toilet. The room has a balcony but you can't enjoy it because the view is off an extremely small interior courtyard, and so much weed was being smoked that we had to keep the door closed. Lastly, the entire hotel smelled like a nail salon, so if the weed did not give you a contact buzz, then the acetone...

Horrible experience and its only the first night still have 3 more to go front office when you check in great then down hill from there hotel offered me a service to wash clothes ready the next day instead of letting me know that the washing machines are down they chose to not let me know and wait till i came the next morning with nothing to wear to tell me that its not washed and theres nothing we can do . Then the hotel left us locked out longer than an hour because someone had to do something more interesting than being in the front desk a guest ended up opening the front door for us and the cherry on top was that the hotel lost water heating so cold showers 🚿 so overall bad washing machines so probably dirty sheets indifferent service and just an over all terrible first time experience in this part of town i recommend hotel estellar blue ill write a review later how great that...
