Chef Burger - Laureles — Restaurant in Medellín

Worst restaurant experience of my life. What a joke. I asked if I could get their sriracha burger with cheddar instead of mozzarella, something so easy, and the waitress Susana said it’s “against the rules” I asked if she could please check. She did and finally approved it. Like really a different cheese isn’t allowed? Haha. Anyway it came with mozzarella not cheddar as I asked, so I said can you please change it, she walked away and I assumed a new burger was coming but I sat there for 30 minutes waiting til a different waiter finally came and asked what’s up. I informed him and then he said he would take care of it. He came back 30 seconds later with the same burger that was obviously now super cold after sitting around for 30 minutes, he only changed the cheese slice, and informed me on top of that I would be charged extra for changing the cheese. Haha I almost laughed. What a joke. I said forget it and I’ll just leave this is sad. The woman tried to block me from leaving saying I have to pay. I said I’m not gonna pay for a cold burger that I didn’t order or eat. I had to push past her. Seriously unbelievable. I didn’t get to try the burger so I can’t speak on taste but it looked pathetic. One tiny piece of lettuce and the meat looked lacking in any color. I’ll never go back, I went to Burger King 2 blocks away and it actually was amazing and way better service. This waitress Susana should not be working here and the waiter either. A waitress should be helpful and go out of their way to help customers get what they want. Susana went out of her way to make what should have been a very simple order very complicated and impossible and had the nerve to let me sit waiting for 30 minutes without doing anything. I came to order the gringa burger. The food and delivery were fast enough. I asked for medium well. The burger looked raw. He interrupts me multiple times to explain that it is not. I had to tell him just cook it more please.

10 minutes later. I receive the same burger with the same cold fries. I don't know if he cooked a new one, but it looked the same degree of doneness.

I walked out, and the manager followed me to explain that the beef is mixed with bacon, and the more u cook it, the more pink it becomes.

The menu didn't mention it was mixed. That looks to me that it is pure bacon. I wanted a burger with beef. Not bacon. You should really tell customers what it is and explain it.

I read the menu in English. I don't remember it being mixed or anything like that.

If a customer is not happy. You do your best to help or offer something else, not pink. Without pork. Not put it on the check.

I informed him about this 1 star review. All he did was ask if my card is credit.

I was here the other day at the location in Laureles and had to send back my burger twice. I ordered the La Gringa and nowhere on the menu did it say the La Gringa had mayonnaise on it. when the burger came out it was slathered in mayonnaise about s quarter inch of the bottom of the bun so I sent it back and said I didn't order this. the server said "oh but this burger comes with mayonnaise on it." I then asked her to bring me the menu and read out where under "La Gringa" on the menu does it say mayonnaise and especially a 1/4 inch thick of it also they put liquid cheese on my burger and not real sliced cheese. I don't know why they would put a quarter inch of mayo on the burger when the menu says it doesn't even come with it. The waitress looked on the menu and she couldn't find it anywhere on the menu under the description of the burger. I think the burgers are WAY overrated here if you are using the American...
