A stunning little restaurant. Nestled on a small road in a relatively quiet neighborhood, visiting Bacchus Bistro felt like discovering a culinary hidden gem. A superbly stylish patio that feels like part living room, part chic eatery welcomed us, and the staff took care of us with a great deal of warmth and causal kindness. The wine list is impressive and offers a great deal of variety, ranging from subtle whites to delightfullt refreshing reds that complement the Croatian heat - all befitting for a restaurant whose namesake is the Greco-roman god of revelry and winemaking. As for dishes, the zucchini carpaccio was a wonderfully fresh and nearly plated starter, perfect for a hot summers day and one I can widely recommend.

When one of our dishes ended up wrong, our server graciously apologized and swapped it out without fuzz, a hallmark of great service.

The filet I had was cooked to perfection—seared beautifully on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with a flavor that was both rich and satisfying. The side salad was fresh and crisp, a perfect counterbalance to the richness of the meat. What really stood out, though, was the genuine friendliness of the staff. The people there, from the chef to the waitress, made the evening special with their warm hospitality. It felt like dining with family, where every dish is made with love and care. If you are hungry, don’t go there. Our appetizer took 40 min, and our main plate 20 min more… waiting time is reasonable when you go to a restaurant that is full, but 40 min for 5 dumplings? After we received the appetizer, they just started to cook my steak which took another 20’ I told the girl about this situation and one of them get mad at me and said if you wanna a faster service go to eat at a fast food local…. very rude …. I have worked in restaurants as a server and in the backhouse so I know how it works… but an appetizer cannot take 40 min, and you cannot respond like that to your customer if you know that food took an hour….
