To begin, it is important to note that smoking is absolutely permitted on the premises. If you are a smoker, you may leave your cigarettes outside and experience the same level of satisfaction as if you had smoked at least six cigarettes. We chose to sit outdoors as the indoor seating was limited to tables for two people, and smoking was prevalent among the other patrons. Notably, the woman seated behind us consumed an entire pack of cigarettes within an hour.

Our meal consisted of a meat platter for two, sea bass with spinach purée, and a steak accompanied by pumpkin purée. The meat platter was generously topped with cheese. While the chicken was satisfactory, the other meats ranged from acceptable to excessively dry and salty. The spinach purée appeared to be simply blended leaves without any seasoning or spices. One sea bass fillet was well-prepared, while the other was overly salted. The pumpkin purée and steak were both satisfactory but unremarkable.

The pricing was consistent with the general standards in Dubrovnik. However, the value for money was lacking. Based on our experience, I would not recommend...

New season, new interior look, great food, fantastic atmosphere. It is always great to return home and visit my favourite restaurant/bar. And what a great start of the season. The owners decided to breathe in some fresh air in the interior and at the veranda. Nice play of colors really gives a fresh and cozy atmosphere both indoor and outdoor. And the new furniture selection is really modern and so comfortable so you don’t need to worry if you have few drinks more than usual. What has become quite common is that Maskeron has become a go to place for important happenings such as weedings, anniversarries, birthdays. No wonder when the food and beverage menu is amazing and rhe staff is always smiling and delivering an spectacular experience. Head waiter Marco and Hrvoje always exude positivity which is delightful and contagious! If you are looking for a fantastic place with cozy atmosphere to eat all kind of food, perhaps have a family dinner, enjoy a refreshing beverage, or even have couple a cold ones with your friends Maskeron...

It was a rainy afternoon in Dubrovnik, which certainly impacted our experience. However, we walked in around 17:30 for a quick bite. The restaurant was near empty when we arrived. It appeared difficult to find a table, which indicates they were expecting reservations. Once sat at our table, we were given maybe 30 seconds to make a menu selection. We ordered drinks quickly, complying with the servers prompts. She quickly came back and asked for food orders, at this point we certainly felt rushed and put in a quick order. I asked if there was a rush, to which she replied they had reservations coming. I understand the need to respect reservations, however, that could have been communicated when asking for a table. Most restaurants I have visited will express, “can you be out in 45 minutes?, etc”. We were in and out in 15 minutes. It did not allow for enjoyment of what was delicious food!
