Guest House Vulic — Hotel in Dubrovnik

As others have said, this was a really cosy and clean apartment in a good area. It is on good distance to Dubrovnik old town, just a 10-15 min bus ride and the buses are frequent. There is an area center with several great restaurants, a beach and some shopping, so you don't need to worry at all about the location being "off". The apartments are kept by an old couple who are very friendly and do not speak English, but their grandson handles communication and are available quickly if you need anything. Also had good contact with Direct booker who handles the booking side. I stayed with a friend for five nights, we went on trips during the days and in the evenings we played videogames in the sofa and sat outside and drank wines we had stored in the fridge....

The hosts were really sweet old couple that did not speak english but welcomed us like its our house. The room was clean, with an AC that works, with a balcony that offered good view of the town and walkable distance to public transportation. They kitchen and bathroom could use some updates but still had everything functioning well. They even offer a private parking space (which is very rare in Dubrovnik area). They just did not have any body soap or shampoo in the bathroom so that's the only negative. The rental is operated by a third party (Direct Booker) but they are very good at...
