However, the beach's charm is somewhat diminished by the lack of good dining options. The once-popular Sunset Beach restaurant has closed, and there are no worthwhile alternatives nearby. Visitors may find themselves leaving the beach for better food options.

A notable drawback is the local shops selling beach essentials, like sandals, at inflated prices. It's best to come prepared to avoid these costly purchases.

Additionally, Uval Beach is composed entirely of pebbles, which makes it less ideal for leisurely walks. The rocky terrain can be uncomfortable underfoot, so those looking for a sandy beach stroll will be disappointed.

Uvala Lapad Beach is a fun and lively place to spend a day, with a mix of sun and shade, and plenty to keep visitors entertained. The inflatable water park just offshore is a big hit—well-managed, with access controlled by an attendant who issues a green ankle strap after payment.

At times, waves crash against the walkway and splash high into the air, catching unsuspecting passersby in a surprise soak which was fun to watch and part of the beach’s charm.

That said, cleanliness is an issue. Like many popular beaches, this one often struggles with litter, and during our visit there was a noticeable amount of trash scattered around. It's something to be aware of, especially if you're expecting pristine sand.

There’s also an old waterslide near the beach that’s closed and appears to be long out of service, which adds to the slightly neglected feel in some spots.
