We were coming to have a quiet time and a good coffee and due to the good reviews we came. At the time I went in, the waiter started talking to me very rude but I did not want to pay attention, also when I was given the coffee the ways were not nice at all. Also I asked for a prosciutto croissant (I was not able to have any other thing due to my lactose intolerance) and anywhere said it was with burrata. When I was given the croissant and I saw the burrata I told them if they could give me another as the burrata was not specified and I rather not want to eat it as I would feel sick. The answer of the waiter at the beginning was that it was not possible to change it and looking at me like I was stupid (I can assure you I tried to be as polite as possible even though such way to treat me). After telling them again the problem they said OK again very rude but that I would have to wait 10-15min. I think when you work face to public and someone nice come to you and above all with a problem, you try to be comprehensive and listen the customer (taking into account it was not specified the burrata and there are many people with lactose problems), you break the time of the customer and whatever is having. I really don’t recommend if you want to stay in a place where you want to have a nice and quiet time. Croatians are very very nice and please don’t take that the people in this local are a representation of the Hvar and...

If you like nice and trendy places and you like coffee it’s your spot. If you know a bit more about it and you are specialty coffee tramp probably you won’t be enthusiastic. The coffee they serve is regular, probably better than average coffee on the island but not a specialty coffee good from my POV. Food part is good, focaccia with mortadella is worth trying if you like this type of food (who doesn’t). They serve croissants and cookies, we tried cookies, chocolate one is hard to eat as it’s melted, and they don’t have utensil so you can only lick it from the plate, which I don’t recommend if you are above the age of 5. The white chocolate cookie is good, a bit too sweet for my taste but my husband really liked it so yeah, maybe for those that really love cookies it’s good. Also don’t get surprised by prices, let’s not forget you are on exclusive Croatian Island. It’s self service, so go get...

I have to be honest and don’t get any pleasure out of writing a bad review but this coffee shop owner needs to know how much he humiliated and upset me last week, all because I asked for a sugar in an iced coffee. He told me it was against company policy to put sugar in his coffee as it’s not how his coffee should be drunk (surely this is a personal choice and you should be able to drink your coffee how you wish). He said ‘this is not a Starbucks lady and nobody should tell me how to make coffee, but you know best’. I felt completely humiliated. He reluctantly agreed to put the sugar in the hot coffee before adding the iced milk (surely the only way to dissolve sugar) because he said he’d get more one star reviews if he didn’t! Well feel very lucky this isn’t a 1 star review and that’s simply because the coffee was great (with my sugar in) although your attitude...

Visiting The Coffee Snob in Hvar, Croatia was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped into the coffee shop, I felt an overwhelming sense of welcome. The simplistic yet elegant decor, combined with a warm greeting, immediately made me feel at ease. The baristas were not only skilled but also engaging, taking the time to chat and ensure I had the best experience possible. The coffee itself was superb, a testament to their dedication to the craft. Sipping my coffee while exploring the charming old town passageways was the highlight of my time on Hvar Island. This experience truly encapsulated the essence of Croatian hospitality and made my visit to The Coffee Snob a standout moment.

Best experience I’ve had in a coffee shop so far all over the world! I usually have to add sugar to my coffee but this coffee stood on its own! Such rich flavors that make you really appreciate coffee! And I of course could not leave a review without acknowledging our amazing barista! He was absolutely so amazing and so friendly and had us coming back almost every day we were on Hvar! We loved him and hope to see him the next time we come to Havr because we will definitely be coming back and coffee snob will be one of our first stops!
