First of all, the staff is amazing. They are there to put a smile on your face and to serve you the best coffee you've ever tasted. I went there with my fiance and we loved the vibe even before we entered the café. After talking with the staff about the origins of the coffees they had available I decided on getting a double espresso with their Ethiopia single origin. The shot was very well balnced, perfectly extracted and the tasting notes from the bag came through clear as day. After this pleasurable experience I decided to try their batch brew with the same Ethiopian coffee amd I was equally pleased. My fiance who ordered an iced latte and doesn't usually enjoy black coffee was also surprised of how good it was. I knew right then that I needed to try the v60 with their panama gesha that the staff was kind enough to share with us. That v60 alone was the peak of our entire holiday. It was so good that we were at a loss for words. I've been working as a barista for 3 years and I have never tasted a coffee so good in my life. I ended up buying a bag of that to take home. They also roast their own coffee and they are doing an amazing job at that as well. Fantastic specialty coffee in the heart of Hvar! They are one of the top roasters in Croatia and it shows in the flavor of their coffee. The iced vanilla latte is really nice. Full of vanilla flavor but without the cloying sweetness of most flavored lattes in the U.S.. (meaning they don’t overdo it with the syrup, though sadly they don’t make their own syrups). Prices are what you would expect for Hvar, but the 1 euro up charge for non-dairy milk is excessive, especially when already paying for an expensive specialty drink and when dairy and non-dairy milk is at price parity these days. However, the quality of their drinks is top notch and it’s definitely worth a stop if you enjoy coffee. One of the best coffee shops in the world. Traveling in Croatia with my wife and while out for a morning walk we discovered this gem. A block from the Adriatic Sea nestled on a winding medieval pathway i enjoyed a flat white (with almond milk) that was so flavorful and smooth that I immediately ordered a second which the amiable, artistic coffee wiz (who I believe is also the owner) was more than happy to accommodate.
