**Dishes and Flavors:** - **Pet Bunara Salad (8/10):** Fresh and vibrant, though a bit pricey at 17 EUR. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. - **Fresh Pasta with Black Truffle (9/10):** Rich and decadent, this dish was a standout with its perfect blend of flavors and luxurious truffle aroma. At 20 EUR, it’s well worth the indulgence. - **Turkey Steak with Fig Jam and Almonds (10/10):** A true highlight of the meal, this turkey steak was fantastic. The fig jam filling added a delightful sweetness, while the almond breading provided a satisfying crunch. Priced at 20 EUR, it's a dish that shouldn't be missed. **Atmosphere:** Pet Bunara offers a lovely dining environment with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal. **Service:** Booking a table was easy through their website. The service was attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. **Presentation:** Each dish was presented beautifully, enhancing the overall dining experience. The attention to detail in the presentation reflects the care and skill of the kitchen staff. **Beverages:** We enjoyed a Slivovica and an Aperol Spritz, both of which were tasty. **Portion Sizes:** The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that we left feeling satisfied. **Ingredients:** The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in each dish, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to high standards. **Pricing:** While the prices are typical for Zadar Old Town, the quality of the food and service makes it worthwhile. We spent 100 EUR, including a tip, which felt reasonable for the experience. **Memorable Moments:** The standout dish was undoubtedly the turkey steak with fig jam and almonds. Its unique combination of flavors left a lasting impression and is a must-try. **Recommendations:** Pet Bunara is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality cuisine in Zadar Old Town. The inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and exceptional food make it a place worth visiting.

PET Bunara delivered an exceptional dining experience during our recent visit. We began with the zucchini and lemon pasta with Adriatic shrimp, which was a standout dish. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the combination of fresh zucchini and zesty lemon created a light, refreshing base that complemented the sweet, succulent shrimp beautifully. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, highlighting the freshness of the local seafood. Next, we indulged in the pasta nostra, a delightful dish that exemplified the restaurant’s commitment to quality and flavor. The rich, savory sauce coated the pasta perfectly, offering a comforting yet sophisticated taste that lingered pleasantly. For dessert, we opted for the chocolate cake, which was the perfect ending to our meal. The cake was rich and moist, with an intense chocolate flavor that was decadent without being overly sweet. It was elegantly presented and served with a side of fresh cream, adding a touch of indulgence to the dessert. Overall, PET Bunara impressed us with its outstanding dishes, each prepared with care and an eye for detail. The combination of high-quality ingredients, expert preparation, and beautiful presentation made our dining experience truly memorable. If you find yourself in Zadar, PET Bunara is a must-visit for a taste of exquisite local cuisine.

Recently dined at Pet Bunara after reading countless reviews & recommendations, but unfortunately didn’t live up to the hype & left a lot to be desired. Starter was the best meal out of the lot. Chickpea puree (aka hummus) was lovely. We were pretty disappointed with the main meals. The ‘Pasta Nostre’ was the better of the two, holding more flavour but just lacked that star quality. ‘Red Risotto’ wasn’t great at all; had no body to it, and was more like a seafood fried rice than risotto. We finished up the pasta and added the rest of the sauce from that dish into the risotto to give it some more flavour (and it was dramatically improved, but still nowhere near what a risotto should be). Decided not to get a dessert and to go elsewhere instead. Price-wise, it wasn’t too bad I guess but you can get significantly better food elsewhere (as we did on other occasions). Antiquus (can’t recommend this place enough), and 4Kantuna spring to mind. Staff were lovely and attentive, whilst the ambience of the restaurant was also amazing. Just a shame the food didn’t match. Maybe we came on the wrong night, or even ordered the wrong meals to really get the wow factor, but hey ho! Still might be worth a go for others thinking about it.

I did some foodie blog-searching before the trip. This restaurant came up in several as did Restaurant Kastel. 5 Wells was much better. Well deserved praise. Get the scampi pasta. I've never had better pasta noodles and the sauce was TO DIE FOR. Also, do not decline the bread basket. They'll give you an assortment of homemade creations - including a twisted roll that has two types of flour plus cuttlefish ink (a dalmatian specialty). There are two types of regional olive oil already on the table for u to try plus quality vinegar and sea salt/pepper. I also had the grapefruit G&T - refreshing and not too sweet! All in all, it's all reasonably priced fare and you can taste how fresh the ingredients are. PROTIP: This restaurant is at the top of the old town. Most cars can't drive into the old town, so tour buses and shuttles and the like will often pickup/drop off at the top of the old town, right around the corner from 5 Wells square. This is a great place to do dinner or lunch before or after plans involving that kind of transportation.

Visiting Croatia for my 31st birthday and celebrated my birthday dinner here! So pleased that I did! Delicious food and great service! The wine cocktail is lovely too, especially for a citrus lover like me! I wish I could sample all of the Croatian wines too! The Sauvignon Croatian wine was very nice. The wait staff were knowledgeable and professional. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely, calm and beautiful. The food was fresh and delicious. Local and traditional dishes with obvious care towards ingredients and their quality and freshness. The traditional dessert was lovely too, the dog sponge cake. It wasn't too sweet but had been nice flavour and was very delicate - how I prefer my desserts and not just an overload of sugar. Definitely tasted homemade - was lovely & the perfect espresso macchiato too! We've booked to go again!

Amazing and tasty dinner! If you're searching for a good quality food and a crazy good combination od flavors, don't skip this restaurant 😊 As a starter we shared a very good bruschetta with cheese, truffle patè and chickpea humus with some bacon on top - this combination was really amazing, also, don't forget to order their homemade bread - bc. that's the absolute best bread we've had till now! This bread you can nicely combine with this starter. For a main dish if you choose the sea bass - you won't regret it 😁 and don't forget the desert! They have amazing pistachio lava cake and chocolate parfe cake - it was the final touch of the perfect dinner we were just seeking for. Atmosphere was cozy and waiters were really friendly and polite. We'll definitely come back again!
