Five-Star Experience! Tbh I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at The Taste Zadar. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with stylish décor and just the right ambiance for a relaxing meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making our visit special.

The food was outstanding — every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I especially loved the Steak, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with fresh ingredients. The menu offered a great variety, catering to both adventurous eaters and those who prefer classic favorites.

What really set this place apart was the attention to detail, from the perfectly timed service to the thoughtful touches like complimentary appetizers, homemade sauces, even excellent wine pairings.

Amazing ambiance and the first place (of 7 different restaurants) we ate in Zagreb which had a warm and welcoming atmosphere!! Right from setting us up at a beautiful table right on the ambient square with a stunning view. Ella our waitress made thoughtful recommendations to enhance the meal (even making a special garlic parsley sauce to enhance the fish). Food was excellent, fish was fresh and cooked to perfection (we came back twice and reserved a fish for our second visit which was even better that the first one we tried). More than the exceptional food, was the warm welcoming service with enough people to tend to you and check in on you and guide you through a wonderful meal. Jan 1 2025, four of us stayed here for a meal,it was lunch time.Staff were friendly but not attentive enough. My spouse ordered ribs with specific request to not over-grill them,he got charred meat.Friend requested octopus salad,they did not have cooked potatoes for recipe and he asked them to just add more cooked greens but specifically to be put on side of dish, he received it all mixed up together.I ordered the beefsteak salad,only got 4or 5 tiny pieces of meat,4 pcs of mushroom and the rest was essentially huge chunks of tomato and cucumber(which was extremely bitter), and perhaps a small spattering of rukola leaves.
