Pyrotima Apartments — Hotel in Grad Zadar

We ended up booking a 2 night stay here as we unknowingly booked our initial accommodation about 25 miles out of zadar. We didn’t want the hassle of public transport every morning and evening so we decided to book a last minute stay here. ||(12-14th May)||Honestly, the location of this apartment cannot be faulted. It is slap bang in the centre, 10/10. You can walk everywhere from here, a 1 minute walk will take you into the main square where you can have your morning coffee and start your day. Just brilliant.||I’m assuming these are new apartments as I’m the first reviewer, but they are really well fitted! Think of a double room with an en-suite. They’re absolutely perfect if you’re just on a couples city break and not using the room for much more than sleeping.||As soon as I booked the hotel I received a WhatsApp message from Ante, the owner, with a short video on how to access the property. This was so helpful and allowed us a smooth switchover after leaving our previous hotel.||Please note these are air bnb style apartments, there is no front desk etc, it’s effectively a self service apartment minus the kitchen amenities. ||All in all it was a wonderful stay in a brilliant location and we would happily return to stay here! The appartment was perfect. Fantastic location for anyone wanting to be in heart of the old town. So many cafes, bars and tourist sites just a stones' throw from the appartment. The furthest end of the old town where the Sea Organ is, is only a 10-12 minute walk from the appartment.

The appartment itself is much larger than we expected. Two good sized bedrooms. The lounge is a nice space to chill or eat in. Bathroom is nice with a good shower. The kitchen is small, but plenty big enough for some light cooking. We didn't need it as we took advantage of all the good cafes and bakeries in Zadar.

The place was really clean. There was good soundproofing which is useful as the area can be noisy through the night. And it has a good aircon, which is certainly needed in the Summer months.

The host, Ante, was super helpful and always quick to respond. He gave us good video directions upfront to find, and get into, the appartment. He also arranged the shuttle to the airport for us.

I don't know where to start..the location of the apartment is perfect, only 100m away from the People's square and close to loads of good restaurants and bakeries, bars etc ..in the middle of the action but on a quiet street. We stayed in the superior studio apartment. I didn't take any photos but the place looks exactly like the photos advertised on booking.com. It is a very nice studio and very very clean, benefitting from a modern bathroom and kitchen corner well equipped with all you need during the stay. The host, Ante is very friendly and attentive to his hosts needs and tries to accommodate your requests such as an iron or storage luggage after checking out. Also we got an early check in without asking for it, I mean when we got downtown Zadar around 1 pm we already got the check in information from the host to access the accommodation. It was such a great experience. We will definitely stay here again...
