Our third year in a row having dinner here. Located on the 4th floor, beautiful views of the sunset, so do Book a time reservation to Include the sun setting.Indoor and outdoor dining, opted for outdoor seating in mid June.
New menus and more items on the menu. Good negronis and old fashions, also Aperol Spritz.
Had two dinners here In June 2024.
Lovely ceviche which was fresh with an amazing sorbet and also scallops starters on the first meal. The second we shared a burrata with mango cubes and pesto was very nice.
The mains of black cod was really good except the skin which was soggy. The sea bass pan fried was really good with crispy skin on the first meal. The second meal , the rib of lamb was very good as was the tenderloin steak with mushroom sauce.
Was so full didn’t have desert.
Service was excellent as always provided by Cosmos and Migkena.
A suggestion- cocktails are rather priced on the higher side when compared to the 5 star Elysium hotel which we were staying in around the corner where negroni’s are 9 euro as to 12euros. On the positive side they don’t...
Read moreI was originally going to put two stars but thought that would be a bit harsh. The views from there are stunning at sunset and some of the food was really nice (scallops, the beef fillet was delicious and prawn linguine) however two of the ribeye steaks were massively overcooked so we had to get them changed which basically delayed the whole meal, I would have not let them past the kitchen door they were that bad, but then they were only just over a cm deep and certainly not worth the 42 euro price tag, especially as the beef fillet was cheaper, way nicer and a decent size. To add insult to injury we got a free desert because of the steak issue, only to find a huge piece of plastic in my sons ice-cream. Totally unacceptable I'm afraid, he could well have choked on it. After that the staff seemed reluctant to come to our table, so had to wait ages to get their attention. Would not go back there unfortunately which is a shame because the start of the...
Read moreThe food was good but the service was a bit poor for such level of restaurant. They didn't know what they were serving us and when they brought the meals they just put it on a table as in a common restaurant. Also they gave us only one bread each with three types of amuse bouche which was a bit strange because normally a whole basket of bread is left on the table so people can enjoy all the different spreads. I think the chef was doing a great job but in a higher standart of restaurant I would expect the waitor to present us what we eat. The atmosphere was nice but a bit sterile. Again I think if the staff was smiling a bit more and added a bit of personal experience it would be better. Also as they didn't know what they were serving I accidently ate something what I should not have eaten. Overall I would say a nice restaurant and if they train the staff a bit more I think it would be a great place for a nice...
