This was our first visit to Cyprus. we were staying at the Avlida Hotel on a b&b basis. There was myself, my wife, her sister, her brother and his wife. We normally have a holiday in March as we all celebrate our wedding anniversaries that month.. On the first day we stopped at Tea for Two for a coffee and while sitting had a look at the menu. We decided to come back for dinner that night and every night after. . I dont really know how I can do this place justice . The menu is extensive, the food of a high quality and prices very reasonable. Add to that the portions are HUGE. Then there is the staff. They make you very welcome and treat each and every customer as special. The whole team are amazing. Pambos is absolutely brilliant and funny guy. His wife Stavroula is just as welcoming and also looked after us very well. It was usually Pambos and Stavroulah who looked after us most nights but there was one night where Andre was there as well because Stavroulah was on a night off. It was a great double act. I also want to mention Karmen and Bella because this is a team effort in Tea for Two and you cant have this level of service without everyone looking after you. Alison my wife is vegetarian and they catered for her very well. Because my sister in law and my brother in law and his wife had been struggling to eat these huge portions, we decided on our last day to just have a snack to keep us going as it was an evening flight. We thought a snack meant a small meal and something we could all manage comfortably. Big mistake. If anything, the snacks were bigger than the dinners. Myself and my brother in law Bobby got Burgers. they were the biggest burgers I have ever seen in my life and neither of us could finish it. For anyone visiting Paphos make this your first stop not only for the food but also the warm welcome from Pambos and Stavroulah and the others. You cant miss this place. It is on Tomb of the Kings road next to where the new bus station is being built. You wont regret dining at T4T but dont bank on eating dessert. The chances are you wont have any room left after eating your main course.

Read moreThe food here is very British, not modern style. It's fresh - yes, it's varied menu - yes but it's not very tasty. Had a Big Breakfast, it was ok but I wouldn't return for it, bland & the eggs overcooked. The Egg in a Roll added cheese was ok too, but preferred the egg soft, not cooked to rubber consistency. They had some juices that the menu stated could be served as "refreshment" (like a Slushie or Icy in the picture) or juice, asked for cherry "refreshment" & they kept saying cherry juice. I pointed to the picture but what I got was juice! It wasn't even real juice, it was sickly sweet with a pink colour, tasted like maraschino cherry Fanta. Seems they choose how you'll be served your order, not the customer. They're doing different flavoured frappes with pictures of layered drink & lots of cream & dessert style toppings - ordered the toffee flavour pointing to the picture, it came out as a plain milkshake! What a disappointment, why bother with the false photos if you're just going to serve it plain?
Another day had the Pavlova & a hot chocolate - it was terrible. The hot choc was watery & disappointing, don't think they put much milk in it, mixing the powder with water. Also it's not Pavlova - I'm Australian, we invented it so the monstrosity they served wasn't it!!! It was a hard meringue top with an almost non existent soft layer, then a huge block of fruity sweetened cream that was far from fresh, then a hard meringue base that was softened due to being refrigerated. Seriously gross. It came with cream on the side which wasn't even fresh, it was from a can & tasted like air. It's not hard to serve fresh...
Read moreWe have just left after a dreadfull experience at tea for 2. We stopped for a.late night cake and coffee. I orered the cherry pie and custard. Firstly custard was horrible..no tatse what so ever. Then the pie ... oft the pie was even worse. Rubber pastry no taste what so ever. Definitely.not.home.made. if it was home made it was well over a week old I didn't even one spoon of it after having to spit it out They covered everything in cinnamon (probly trying to hide the staleness) we was still charged for the pie. Even though it hadn't been eaten . The manager guy started raise his voice saying we had.to pay for it. I asked what pastry it was and he couldn't even answer . Definitely not fresh. Definitely not homemade when the chefs or manager don't no what pastry it is We wasn't the only people raising complaints and not eating food. When we left one of the waitresses (rabina i think her name tag said) called me a b**ch with is completely unacceptable. Down right disgusting. Horrible People horrible food. Do not go for "homemade" cake as its.never...
