"Vasileon 31" Taverna - Cyprus Restaurant — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

I was very dissapointed after visiting "Vasileon 31" Taverna - Cyprus Restaurant. We ordered Afelia and Pastichio.

In Afelia we got meat, rice  and chips - we were very surprised with rice and chips? With no vegetables? After that we read on the menu that we could choose  between chips, salad , rice and vegetables - what a pity that the waitress didn't ask us what we would like and decided for us. Besides that the meat was very salty but eatable.

Pastichio was one big failure. No  salt, no  taste, Pasta was overcooked without texture. It has almost no sauce  in it. Couldn't eat that at all.

The men who was cleaning  our table asked if I would like to take the food with me as he noticed that I almost didn't eat any. I told him that it was because I didn't like the food - I wanted to create a space to discuss, mistakes can happen but the men didn't say anything, turned around and left.

Corona beer and frappe was okey ;)

We went here three times over the two weeks we were in Paphos. The first time we had the meze which was amazing so fresh and the perfect amount of food. We then had from the main menu the next two times, the service was good and the whole menu looked amazing. I have epilepsy and some lights are triggering outside the restaurant there are two blue lights each side which shine in. I asked if one could be tuned off which was in my eye sight and this was done straight away with no hassle. I ate a moussaka here. The first one was burned in the oven and had no bechemel sauce. They gave me a new one. This one was even wurse. No aubergine but only courgette, something that lookted like bechemel but reminds me of mozzarella. I didn't finish it. They better stop making moussaka. Upon complaind the cook was furious with me. Shouting at me my complain was not rightfull and disrespectfull. I think serving food this bad and reacting the way they did is disrepectfull for the costumer.
