New Era Restaurant — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

This place is with good ambience, and the Chinese owner is singing old Chinese karaoke songs while we were dinning. Sometimes losing the song's tune. :) But the food is not recommended at all. First of all, we basically waited for a long time waiting for the dishes to come.( 30mins +) We had Wonton noodles and barbecues. Both are not attractive at all, basically no flavor. It's the worst noodle that I have ever had. The price is 399Kr for the Chinese barbecue.(10 small strings of meat) The meat is in very small portion and it is not fresh. It is actually pretty hard for us to bite it. I don’t think this food worth this amount money. You can eat decently in other restaurants in Brno with this price. For example in the local restaurant, or Greek restaurant we had a large plate of barbecue with a full plates of barbecue with sides dishes for 2 people only for 425 CZK and local Brno beer. Expensive price in Brno and unpalatable food tastes! What a fantastic and authentic restaurant here in the center of Brno! It is always a treat coming here with my colleagues. I have been here many times and can easily say that the food and service is of excellent quality.

The owners are always so pleasant to talk to, and it is very clear that they care deeply about their restaurant. My colleagues and I often stop by and have a lovely chat over a glass of wine. In regard to the bar and drinks, they do offer a very high-quality selection of wines in constant rotation.

I have been here multiple times for lunch and dinner. The dumplings are incredible and always made fresh by hand. Both the lunch and dinner menus are priced well and offer a very good portions. I always experience a new dish here and leave quite satisfied. Overall, I am always a happy customer and look forward to...

I ordered wonton soup, but it was totally different from the picture. The picture showed what looked like shiitake mushrooms, but in reality it was seaweed. The qinggengcai was hard and the biggest problem was the soup, which looked like diluted miso soup. It was a shame because the wontons were delicious. The duck noodle was greasy as others have reviewed, but the duck was crispy and delicious.
