They will charge you double when ordering wine (will pour you 2 dl instead of 1dl, without asking, and will only inform you of this when you’re paying the bill). Be warned. Whole menu is overpriced and nothing is authentically Irish. 0/10.
Edit: I’m adding on to this here since I can’t respond to your response separately. Neither your menu nor your staff states any difference between “BIG” and “SMALL” glasses of wine. Your menu states that one glass of rosé is 75czk. Pouring a double glass without telling those who ordered it until they are at the till is extremely unprofessional, and spending 450czk on three glasses of wine is absurd. I also never mentioned the prices of beer in my initial review, and I am fully aware that Guinness is Irish. When saying that nothing in your establishment is authentically Irish, I was referring to the customer service experience – in that it was awful. You should be ashamed to have an Irish flag on your walls. I highly recommend that you update your menu to showcase the actual prices for the drinks you are offering and, additionally, that you don’t comment on what your customers can or cannot afford when you are swindling people out of their honestly...
Read moreA well maintained pub with very nice, stylish interior, dark wood and all, although it's obvious it's new and doesn't quite achieve the vintage cozy Irish pub look. Definitely above Brno average in terms of looks though. They have at least two big screens (as far as I recall), possibly a few smaller ones, and show major domestic sporting events and international football. There is a small range of very well kept Czech, Irish and British beers and a cider, and a nice selection of Irish and Scottish whiskies. The food is good quality and largely home-made, I believe they're well known for their burgers. Vegetarian options are very limited. The prices are definitely premium for both food and drinks, this is not a cheap place. Despite being advertised as an Irish pub, most of the staff are not exactly fluent in English so if you're a native speaker looking for some banter, you might have to look elsewhere. That said, they are definitely able to take an order in English and are usually friendly and...
Read moreA respectable and worthy place in the city center, but on a more quiet part of it, offering good views of the architecture around. It's your standard Irish bar & pub, with fish & chips and burgers, as well as other nice bites. The Blue cheese burger is a must-have, along with the Nacho bowl (not very Irish, but c'mon!) And a pint of Kilkenny's or Guinness. Local beer is also available. Irish music was playing, to add to the atmosphere.
A great selection of whiskey and rum is available!
Can get crowded for dinner, but around 17-18, it's...
