Bufet — Restaurant in Prague

Best value delicious food at cheap prices. During my stay in Prague, I visited this restaurant several times and the food always fulfilled my expectations. I tried their Pulled Beef with mashed potatoes and it was so delicious 🤤 on my next visit to the restaurant they ran out of mashed potatoes so I had to add roasted potatoes 🥔 instead. They were okay but I highly recommend mashed potatoes! Their beef portion is big and very tender. Another day I tried their Cheese Burger and it was good but the meat could have been cooked just a little longer. They told me that they were going to cook it Medium Rare but it was Medium more. Their French fries are delicious 🍟 One important note is that the restaurant doesn’t have an English menu so you have to translate it yourself or check their website. The food preparation time is quite fast. I was not happy with one of the waitresses or the person who stands by the checkout desk. Her name is Martina. She was very cold and mean when she was taking/placing my order. I thought that she was just having a bad day or feeling tired but during my several visits, she was always like that. Ondřej was amazing and tried to make up for my bad experience by having me try the food again for free. I still wasn’t a fan to be honest, but I applaud his hospitality and effort. I hope that things turn around in terms of the way they prepare and cook the meat for their burgers, because it is an interesting concept and a great location 😊

Deleted my previous review about insanely oily and almost inedible chicken wings because it’s not allowed to post more than one review.

Ambiente should seriously consider selling this place to kfc or McDonald’s because the quality is around that level. But this is way more disappointing because at least with those fast food chains you know what to expect.

So bad and overpriced. I could make better burgers with frozen patties and my eyes closed.

Next time I’ll just eat beer. If this place was not next to Dva Kohouti, it would not have...

It was a terrible experience! First, they were extremely impolite - showing annoyed - by the fact that I asked for a single Burger (only chicken and cheese, no salad, no sauce). While eating I realised that the sandwich contained salad which I ate without noticing. Being preoccupied by the situation I went back to explain them that for a pregnant women, eating salad outside is dangerous and could cause a miscarriage. Instead of an apology, one of the guys was even making fun of my concern. Using a sarcastic tone he was saying that I ate almost half my sandwich…. “It’s only now that you noticed so?!” Taking so much care for my food for almost 5 months, this was the most disgusting and at the same time most stressful situation I have dealt with as a pregnant woman eating outside....
